





























































HELEN LEWANDOWSKI BUTLER
SILVERHILL, AL - FORMERLY OF NORTH JUDSON & KNOX, IN- Helen (Dunkelberger) Lewandowski Butler, 93, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Silverhill, Alabama. She was born May 15, 1932 in Starke County, Indiana to the late Dewey and Anis Dunkelberger.
Helen lived a life of dignity and grace. She had worked at Culver Military Academy, coowned and did the bookkeeping for Lewandowski Cabinet Shop and retired from Haverty Furniture as Credit Manager. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, Quiddler and May I and loved dancing and sewing.
She is survived by her children: Sandra (Dave) Miller, Nancy (Mike) Tillman, Steve (Geri) Lewandowski and Rebecca Bedford, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and two sisters: Marge (Orv) Ward and Jean Dunkelberger. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and siblings: John Dunkelberger and Avis Freeman.
The family is planning a celebration of life in April with details not complete yet. Memorials may be made to the Loxley Church of God in Loxley, Alabama or to the First Baptist Church in Knox, Indiana.
JEAN ANN FOX
STAR CITY, IN - Jean Ann “Nan” Fox, 70, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, Indiana. She was born October 13, 1955 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Henry Oscar and Martha Murlene (Crist) Cornell. On December 13, 1975, in Pulaski, Indiana, she married Thomas P. “Tom” Fox.
Nan was a 1973 graduate of Winamac High School and graduated from Wright Beauty Academy. She had worked in several salons and had served on the Board of Directors for the Pulaski White Rural Telephone Cooperative for 12 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed casinos, bowling, baking, playing cards, attending festivals, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Shaun (Rachel) Fox of Whitestown, Indiana and Mark (Michelle “Mo”) Fox of Star City, one daughter, Emily (Brandon) Daggy of Martinsville, Indiana, four grandchildren, siblings: Lisa (Larry) Barker of Winamac and Bart (Cindy) Cornell of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom.
A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, February 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski with Rev. Dennis Faker officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery South in Pulaski. Memorials may be made to the Star City Volunteer Fire Department or Christian Mothers.
Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
RAYMOND T. SCHULTZ
MEDARYVILLE, IN - Raymond T. Schultz, 69, died at 11:23am on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He was born December 21, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Edward and Ruth (Earle) Schultz. On April 6, 1991 he married Joan L. Peters. Raymond was a West Central High School graduate. In his lifetime he was a farmer and worked for Busch Farm Service for over 20 years, a laborer for the Department of Natural Resources, a heavy equipment operator and made prefabricated boat ramps for over 31 years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Lake Bruce Community Church. He was a Donor Hero by organ donation and research. Raymond was an avid outdoor person who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, mushrooming, motorcycling, working as a mechanic, fabrication of different designs and mentoring kids.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, and siblings: Jerry (Dolly) Schultz, Mike (Donna) Schultz and Becky (Bob) Stiller. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth. Visitation from 4-8pm on Wednesday, February 11 and one hour before services on Thursday, February 12 at Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Winamac Chapel. Services will be at 11am on Thursday with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to your local national Wild Turkey Federation Jake account or the First National Bank in Winamac c/o Joan Schultz for DNR youth activities.

MICHAEL HOWARD HENRY
KNOX, IN - Michael Howard “Mike” Henry, 78, died Thursday, February 5, 2026 in La Porte, Indiana. He was born March 2, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Dr. Howard and Lena (Edwards) Henry. On November 7, 1994 he married Nora.
Mike was an avid golfer. He had a love for cars and in the summer months would go to La Porte for the car shows and parade. He was a veteran of the US Army, loved history and watching car shows and history shows on TV. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his wife, Nora, daughters: Shayla (Alonzo) Shepherd of Sellersburg, Indiana and Lesley (Eric) Craft of Knox, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and siblings: Elizabeth “Betsy” Starkes of Bremen, Indiana, Patricia (Tom) Mulligan of Spooner, Wisconsin and Bill (Cori) Henry of Mitchell, Indiana.
Services were held Tuesday, February 10 at M.C. Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Pradke officiating. Burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

DOROTHY MARIE TRUSTY
WINAMAC, IN - Dorothy Marie Trusty, 89, died Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Winamac, Indiana. She was born January 6, 1937 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Fred and Mary Edith (Gnuschke) Koch. On April 2, 1955 in North Judson, Indiana she married Earl Trusty. He died May 16, 2006.
Dorothy was a member of the Free United Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts for family and spending time with her family. She had worked as a bus driver for the North Judson School Corporation.
She is survived by three sons: Earl Edward (Cherene) Trusty of Winamac, Tony Ray (Cindy) Trusty of Monticello, Indiana and Larry Dean Trusty of North Judson, one daughter, Vicki Lynn Richey of North Judson, fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and siblings: Don Koch, June White and Betty (Byron) White, all of North Judson. She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Lee Trusty, two great great grandchildren and siblings: Leonard, Oscar, Paul and Elmer Koch.
Friends will be received from 11am till time of service at 1pm on Wednesday, February 11 at the Free United Baptist Church with services starting at 1pm with Rev. Mike Noble officiating. Burial will be in the Denham Cemetery in Denham, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Free United Baptist Church.
