FRANCESVILLE, IN - Donald W. “Donnie” Myers, 81, died Monday, December 22, 2025 at his home. He was born November 22, 1944 in Francesville, to the late Melvin L. and Mamie S. (Culp) Myers. On September 4, 1965, he married Mary M. Eads. She died September 21, 2008. On June 11, 2011, he married Linda D. (Earhart) Frier. Donnie attended Francesville High School and served in the Indiana Army National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Medaryville, Indiana. He enjoyed cutting trees, splitting wood, farming, playing horseshoes, corn hole and Skip Bo. He cherished his time with his family. He had worked at Schlatters for many years and retired from Talbert Trailer. He is survived by his wife, Linda, one step son, Gene N. (Angie) Frier, Sr. of Buffalo, Indiana, one step daughter, Melissa J. (Tim) Tiede of Washburn, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters: Martha J. Losh of Medaryville, Carol S. (George) Martindale of Star City, Indiana, Janet I. (Dennis) Haschel of Winamac, Indiana and Evelyn M. Dunker of Francesville and one brother, M. David (Della) Myers of Francesville. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela J. Myers, one son, Derrick W. Myers and siblings: Anna Marie Wood, Ronald L. Myers and Sheryl L. Hunt. Services were held Saturday, December 27 at Frain Mortuary, with Pastor Tom Dewlen officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Assembly of God Church in Medaryville. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Francesville.
SHARRON ANN REINHOLD
MONTEREY, IN - Sharron Ann (Keller) Reinhold, 84, died Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born November 27, 1941 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Robert J. and Ruby F. (Burch) Keller. On December 24, 2008, she married Steven L. Reinhold. Sharron had been Assistant Tax Collector for thirty-some years in Arcadia, Florida. She retired in 2006 and moved back to Monterey. She loved to study God’s word, read, sing gospel songs, walk her dog, birdwatch, fish and yardwork. She was a member of New Song Church in Plymouth, Indiana. She is survived by three sisters-in laws. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven and her brother, Robert D. Keller. Per her wishes, no service will be held. Private burial will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Monterey. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac, Indiana.
Jerry Gene “Jay” Sullivan, Jr. Jerry Gene “Jay” Sullivan, Jr., 63, of Winamac, IN passed way unexpectedly on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born on January 12, 1962 in Knox, IN to Betty Jean (Burke) and Jerry Gene Sullivan, Sr. Jay graduated from Winamac High School in 1980 and Purdue University in 1984. On July 29, 1989, he married the love of his life, Patricia A. “Patty” Doty, in North Judson, IN. Jay worked as a licensed civil engineer and had a passion for farming. He served on the Pulaski County Council for 20 years (8 years as President). He was a proud member of the Pulaski County Republican Party. Jay was a hardworking man who faithfully served his community. He enjoyed his time spent in local politics and coaching his children’s youth sports teams. Jay was a tried and true Purdue Boilermaker and a big fan of the Winamac Warriors. He was an avid bowler and a Harley enthusiast. In his younger days, Jay spent countless-hours arrowhead hunting, and in recent years he shared this hobby with his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and never missed opportunity to bring a smile to your face. He was the kind of man who never met a stranger. Jay was a loving and devoted husband, father, and PaPa who will be dearly missed. ALICE (DEMBOWSKI) CONDON
KNOX, IN - Alice (Dembowski) Condon was born on March 12, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edward and Irene (Poczworowski) Dembowski. Alice graduated from Knox High School in 1950. While still in high school, she began her working career as a telephone operator for United Telephone Company. She later worked as a teletype operator at the Kingsbury Ordnance Plant. Alice continued her career at Howmet Corporation, from which she retired in 1988 after many years of dedicated service. On March 24, 1951, Alice married Ralph J. Condon at Camp Breckinridge, Kentucky. The ceremony was officiated by Major Father John McGoohan. Alice was an active and devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Knox, where she belonged to the Ladies of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also served her community through leadership roles, including past President of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and past President of the Starke County Hospital Auxiliary. In addition, she was a member of the Starke County Historical Society.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, Ralph J. Condon; her two sons, Steve (Sandy) Condon of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and James (Lori) Condon of Knox, Indiana; and her 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Irene (Poczworowski) Dembowski; her brother, Edward Dembowski; and her sister, Margaret (Dembowski) McCormick. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox, Indiana. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. (CT) at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Knox, Indiana. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
