


























DAVID WILLIAM REED
North Judson, IN - David William Reed, 76 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26, 2025. He was born Thursday, September 30, 1948 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late Floyd Reed and the late Dovie(Troyer) Reed.
David graduated fron North Judson-San Pierre High School in 1967. David enlisted in the United States Army at an early age. He served in Korea before his discharge. He enjoyed being around friends, family and the neighbor kids, who adopted him as a grandfather figure. He also loved fishing and hunting. He worked as a loborer at American Oak for many years until heath complications.
Surviving are Son, Troy Reed of Austin, Texas, Daughter, Elaine Richie of North Judson, Indiana, 3 grandsons, Brother, Floyd(Vonda) Reed Jr of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Jeffery(Rosemary) Reed of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Shirley Goble of Eauclaire, Michigan, Sister, Shelia Messer of Knox, Indiana, good friend Tara Bunton and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna(Fugate) Reed, parents Floyd and Dovie Reed, brothers Gregory, Robert, Mark, Joseph and Richard Reed and sisters Patricia Hazlett, Phyllis Burnett and Maxine Masterson.
Services were held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 1 PM with Joe Reed officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox, Indiana. Memorial may be made to the family.
ALFRED JAMES “JIMMY” DIMMOCK, JR.
Osceola, IN - Alfred James “Jimmy” Dimmock, Jr., 67, of Osceola passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1958 in Gary to the late Alfred J. and Marie (Hutton) Dimmock, Sr. Alfred was raised by his paternal grandparents in Kewanna, Monterey, Winamac, and Bass Lake. He attended Culver Community School before entering the workforce. He labored hard throughout his life and held many different jobs, but his passion was selling and trading automobiles.
On February 28, 2011, Alfred married Jo Ann (Conner) Perez in Winamac. They enjoyed their life together, especially hunting for bargains and going on drives in the golf cart. No matter where he lived, he always had a hot tub to enjoy. Alfred was a fun and outgoing guy who will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by: Alfred J. and Marie (Hutton) Dimmock, Sr., Parents Frank Dimmock, Brother Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
Services will be held at 10 AM EDT Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Pastor Dawn Williamson officiating.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM EDT Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Osceola. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Osceola.

WILLIAM “BILL” NATHAN WHEELER JR
Knox, IN - William “Bill” Nathan Wheeler Jr, 89 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 in Elkhart, Indiana. He was born Tuesday, January 28, 1936 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late William Wheeler Sr and the late Loretta(Sohne) Wheeler.
On July 3, 1974, Bill Married Donna(Coldiron) in Knox, Indiana, and together they lovingly raised their children and were just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary before Donna’s passing last year.
Bill retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 30 years. He enjoyed going out to eat, and he never met a stranger he didn’t like!
Bill was known for chatting up a storm and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage, being with his family, and attending his grandkid’s events. Bill was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in North Judson and had a strong faith and love for God..
He worked as a mill right for Bethelham Steel .
Surviving are Son, Danny Coldiron of Knox, Indiana, Son, William(Lindsay) Wheeler of Culver, Indiana, Son, Robert(Melissa) Wheeler of LaCrosse, Indiana, Daughter, Shelly(Steve) Ransom of North Judson, Indiana, 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of almost 50 years Donna, his parents William and Loretta Wheeler, one brother Gene Wheeler, one sister Patricia Hendricks and his newborn baby, William III.
Graveside services at Round Lake Cemetery, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11 AM, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana. Memorials may be made to St Peter’s Lutheran Church.
HARLEY EVERETT WATSON
Mishawaka, IN - Harley Everett Watson, 90 years old of Mishawaka, Indiana, formally of Plymouth, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Mishawaka, Indiana.
He was born Wednesday, August 1, 1934 in Carver, Kentucky, Son of the late Raleigh Watson and the late Stella(Jackson) Watson. Harley was a past member of the Knox Moose Lodge. He enjoyed gardening, drinking coffee, walking and watching Westerns on TV. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was retired from AM General. Surviving are Son, Mark(Tanya) Watson of Plymouth, Indiana, Son, Steven Watson of Seattle, Washington, Son, Michael(Wendy) Watson of Walkerton, Indiana, 3 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren, Brother, Roy Watson of North Judson, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by parents Raleigh and Stella Watson, sisters Elsie Bailey and Mattie Watson, Dorothy Watson, Minnie
Krynski and Lucy Standifer and brothers Harry, Ruie and Lee Watson. Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM CST, Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana. Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, August 8, 2025 at with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Fletcher Cemetery. CATHY LYNN SHEDROW
Monterey, IN - Cathy Lynn Shedrow, 72, of Monterey, IN passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. She was born on September 17, 1952 in Winamac, IN to the late Donald G. and Alice F. (Reinholt) Peterson. Cathy graduated from Culver High School in 1971 and attended Bible College in Missouri. On April 21, 1972, she married the love of her life Lane A. Shedrow at the Methodist Church in Winamac. He survives.
Cathy was a Bank Teller for over 30 years at the Monterey Branch of the First National Bank of Monterey. She was a true people person and it showed in the way she cared for her customers and friends. Cathy attended the Heartland Church in Winamac where she lovingly participated on the Care Team. She loved Jesus and served Him faithfully throughout her life.
Cathy enjoyed the homemaker life. She was always busy and could be found gardening, canning, cooking, or baking. Most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by: Lane A. Shedrow, Monterey, IN Husband, Wade (Tammy) Shedrow, Monterey, IN Son, Jessica (Samuel) Weldon, Monterey, IN Daughter, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren on the way!
