LYNVIL CRAIG FLETCHER

STAR CITY, IN - Lynvil Craig Fletcher, 70, died Thursday, August 14, 2025 in Star City, Indiana. He was born May 12, 1955 in Knox, Indiana to the late Earl and Arpha (Cole) Fletcher.

He is survived by his son, Todd (Jennifer) Fletcher of Carmel, Indiana, two grandchildren and one brother, Duane (Denise) Fletcher of Medaryville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Vernon and Douglas Fletcher. No services will be held. Memorials may be made to the family.

Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.

OLIVE KAY YOUNG

WINAMAC, IN - Olive Kay “Sue” Young, 75, died Monday, August 18, 2025 at Hickory Creek at Winamac. She was born April 12, 1950 in Winamac. On November 20, 1970 in Monticello, Indiana, she married Lenvel Franklin “Len” Young. He died on December 20, 2020.

Sue and Len were known to many as Olive Oil and Popeye and enjoyed life together. She worked as a CNA for many years and also served as the site manager of the Von Tobel Senior Center in Winamac. She was an active volunteer in many areas of the community and was always supportive of her children, having served as a leader for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and 4-H. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by one son, Pierre Len Young of Royal Center, Indiana, two daughters: Dr. Tonia Kay Young-Babb of Kokomo, Indiana and Sonia May Herrick of Logansport, Indiana, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Karen Marie Pratt of Logansport and four half siblings: Tom Foust, Penny Keyser, Nancy Foust and Cindy Eastwood. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Elaine Young, one great grandson, Infant Carson Silas Rude, her mother, Betty Maxine (Galbreath) Foust Markley Kloenne, her father, Willard Louis Foust, two step fathers: Loren Paul Markley and Robert Eugene Kloenne, step mother, Evelyn Viola “Sally” (Engle) Foust and two sisters: Kathy Loren Webb and Carol Lynn Crist.

Visitation will be from 10am-12 Noon EDT on Friday, September 5 with services starting at 12 Noon with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating at Frain Mortuary. Private entombment will take place at the Winamac Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Human Services for the Von Tobel Senior Center.

Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

BRIDGET A. BELL

WINAMAC, IN - FORMERLY OF VERO BEACH, FLORIDA - Bridget A. Bell, 42, died Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born July 6, 1983 in Winamac, Indiana. On March 1, 2004 she married Leon Bell, Jr. Bridget attended Winamac High School and Prairie State College. She enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife, especially fishing, going to the beach, her pets, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Leon, three sons: Zayne, Tayen and Coen Bell and two daughters: Kaprice and Caddi Bell, her mother, Clara Braun, step mother, Becky Sue Keller and siblings: Adam Keller, Leona (Jon) Virgo, Leonard Keller and Casey Frederick. She was preceded in death by her father, William P. “Bill”

Keller, step father, Brad Scheffer and infant twin brother and sister. Visitation from 11am-1pm EDT on Wednesday, August 27 at Frain Mortuary with services at 1pm with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

SHEILA F. KELLER

MONTEREY, IN - Sheila F. Keller, 75 died Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at her home. She was born August 2, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Bernice (Radakovitz) Corley. On August 24, 1968 in Chicago, she married Robert M. “Bob” Keller. He died March 28, 2025.

Sheila was fiery, mischievous and full of laughter, always quick with a joke or prank. She had worked as a QMA as well as a homemaker and she loved life on a farm breeding dogs and raising chickens and cats. She will be missed.

She is survived by one daughter, Christine (Pat) Keller Renneker of Plymouth, Indiana, two sons: Robert “Bob” (Jennifer) Keller of Winamac, Indiana and Mark (Stephanie) Keller of Monterey, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and four sisters: Mary Ann Corley, Kathleen (Dave) Cox, Rita Corley-Baker and Peg (John) Drew. She was preceded in death by one sister, Maureen Stec. Services were held Monday, August 25 at Frain Mortuary, with Rev. Dennis Faker officiating. Burial was in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Monterey. Memorials may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

RONALD WARD GARRETT

ROYAL CENTER, IN - FORMERLY OF NILES, MI - Ronald “Ron” Ward Garrett, 89, died Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Chase Center in Logansport, Indiana. He was born June 11, 1936 in Pickett County, Tennessee to the late Ernest Carl and Esther Evoline (Garrett) Garrett. On November 14, 1954, in Lafayette, Indiana he married Donna Lee Deeming. On December 9, 1975 in Francesville, Indiana he married Nelda M. (Onken) Manning. She died February 4, 2019.

Ron graduated from Stockwell High School in Stockwell, Indiana, where he excelled in basketball and baseball. He attended the Indiana Business College and for many years, he worked as an Assistant Vice President at the First National Bank of Southwest Michigan. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing Euchre. He was a member of the Dowagiac Lodge #2441 FOE and a member of the Tipton Lodge #33 F&AM in Logansport, a former member of Royal Center Lodge #585 F&AM and Past Master of Winamac Lodge #262 F&AM.

He is survived by one son, Scott W. (Marilyn) Garrett, two granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and siblings: Charles Keith (Gayle) Garrett, Evelyn Joyce (Ken) Hightower and Linda Kay Aune. He was preceded in death by two sons: Ronald Shawn Garrett and Patrick Joel Garrett, one daughter, Barbara E. Pugha and two brothers: Delmas Randal and Leonard Ray Garrett.

Visitation from 5-7pm EDT on Friday, August 29, at Frain Mortuary. Private burial will be in Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Neal Home in Logansport.

Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
