PATRICIA L. BAILEY

MEDARYVILLE, IN - Patricia L. “Patty” Bailey, 55, died at 9:10am, Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her home. She was born March 31, 1968, to Willie and Versie (Stone) Catt. On February 22, 1986, she married Jessie Bailey.

Patty was a proud 30 year employee of Rose Acres. She was a member of the Francesville First Christian Church. She enjoyed camping, family BBQs, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie, two daughters: Shellie (Jason) Patton of Medaryville and Kellie (Joey) Shepherd of Crown Point, Indiana, five grandchildren, her father, Willie Catt Jr. of Mason, Michigan, seven sisters: Brenda (Rodney) DeRossett of Medaryville, Melissa Berlin of Leslie, Michigan, Sandra Catt and Harley Bliss, both of Mason, Courtney (Brad) Starnes of Jackson, Michigan, Chelsey and Cadey Barden, both of Lansing, Michigan and three brothers: Brian Catt, Nathan Barden and Presten Barden, all of Leslie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Versie and one brother, Paul Catt.

Services were held Wednesday, September 13, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery, Francesville, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Francesville First Christian Church.

Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville.

LESLIE WAYNE BRANTLEY

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Leslie Wayne

Brantley, 67, died Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Knox, Indiana. He was born May 3, 1956, in Gary, Indiana, to JC and Elaine (Lawson) Brantley.

Leslie enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He had worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by two daughters: Megan (Jason) Jerz of Wheatfield, Indiana and Rachel Brantley of Chattanooga, Tennessee, one grandchild, his father, JC Brantley and one brother, Darryl Brantley, both of North Judson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine.

No services will be held at this time.

KATHLEEN BRADLEY

PLYMOUTH, IN - Kathleen “Kat” Bradley, 59, died Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born June 25, 1964, to the late Donald Hamilton and Dorothy Coldiron.

Kathleen enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and swimming, spending time with her family and her cats and listening to music.

She is survived by two sons: Randall Bradley and Tyler Gliva, one granddaughter and siblings: Shawn Tuttle, Destaney White, Amanda Hamilton, Melissa Redlark and Jessica Hamilton.

Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox, Indiana.

ZENI COMAN

KNOX, IN - Zeni Coman, 68, died Friday, September 15, 2023, at her home. She was born November 10, 1954, to Gheorghe and Ana “Vesa” Lascau.

A visitation service will be on Friday, September 22, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home from 7-9pm CST. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 23, at 11am CST. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery in Knox.

Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.

CLETUS JACKSON

ORA, IN - Cletus Jackson, 71, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born September 23, 1951, in North Judson, Indiana, to the late Addie and Alma (Mullins) Jackson. In February of 1970, he married Bea Thomas.

Cletus worked many different jobs over the years. He loved living in Monterey, spending time with his family and friends, gardening, coon hunting, taking care of his fruit trees and tending to his animals. He loved being the life of the party entertaining everyone playing the guitar and singing.

He is survived by three daughters: Mistie (Bill) Dulin and Nickie (JJ) Johnson, both of Ora and Kymmi (Eric) Miller of Knox, Indiana, one son, Jerry (Dawn Allen) Hurt of Ohio, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one sister, Pauline (Jack) Frasure of San Pierre, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ginger Kring, three brothers and three sisters.

Services were held Monday, September 18, at the Odom Funeral Home, with Carlos Bastardo officiating. Burial was in the Alexander Heinemann Memorial Cemetery in Ora. Memorials may be given to the family.

Arrangements were made by the Odom Funeral Home in Culver, Indiana.
