Michelle Brouyette’s kindergarten class at Columbia Elementary School, Rochester, was trying to get ready for a Thanksgiving feast and were looking for turkeys. Unfortunately, they can’t find a single one, or can they? It was the students job to disguise a turkey to help keep them from being the main course for the Thanksgiving dinner. The students had to use items they found around their house to dress the turkey up in a clever disguise so the bird couldn’t be found. The kindergartners were able to use things like fabric, paper scraps, ribbons, tissue paper, craft feathers, crayons and anything else they were able to find. Turkeys were returned back

cheerleader, and cartoon characters. These creative students were

able to disguise their turkeys and keep them from being eaten at the Thanksgiving feast.
