From 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, Lake Manitou will be the stage for the first CASA of Fulton County Fishing Tournament, a fundraiser organizers hope will become a regular event to benefit CASA’s effort to provide court appointed special advocates for abused or neglected children. The tournament is a collaboration between CASA and Fulton County Bass Masters and will include food and refreshment, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. There is an entry fee of $60 per boat — which includes $10 toward the big bass prize — and registration is at the DNR ramp on the day of the tournament. Participants must check in at least 30 minutes prior to start time. “I’m super excited about meeting new people.
