Located in a building adjacent to Jud Hudkins Arena, the exhibit was once again a hive of activity thanks to a small but enthusi-

astic group who are keeping keepin the tradition alive. Fulton County’s model railroad club is one of only three in the state. “The doors have been shut, and now we’ve got them open,” enthused Tara Seuferer, whose son Josh and returning club member Terry Grossman were among those who devoted their infectious energy to getting the club “back on track,” as it were. This year Josh earned a grand cham-
pion prize for his long flatbed car, which was exhibited in the Everett Smith Building. “I know these boys have worked hard,” said Tara, who along with her husband, Scott, and Allison Earp, daughter of long time club leader Richard Earp, as well as other volunteers and sponsors such as Rochester Glass, has supported their efforts. “We can help them, and there is room for more members.”
The exhibit, which features HO scale, digital command controlled trains, is big enough that each member has their own section to create whatever buildings or landscape strikes their imagination. As an example, Grossman showed-off a vintage Dairy Queen model he had recently completed. For him, the club is about “building and having fun.” “Kids have put their own spin Continued on page 3
