A fairy tale and a must-see show for the whole family, this “Cinderella” is the contemporary new Broadway adaptation of the classic tale, featuring Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” – along with a hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” was remade for television in 1965 for Lesley Ann Warren, and again in 1997 with Whitney Houston and Brandy. The original Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” opened in 2013.

Elkhart Civic Theatre’s full season is underwritten by Laura and Jack B. Smith, Jr., and Gaska Tape. WNIT is media sponsor.

Tickets are adults: $21; seniors (62+): $19; students: $16.

Tickets for “Cinderella” are available online at elkhartcivictheatre.org/cinderella or by calling the ticket line at (574) 848-4116 between 1-5:30 p.m. Monday–Friday.

Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged and advance sale tickets are reduced in price.

Check the Wellfield website for updated parking and entrance procedures. Due to water main construction and street closure on North Main Street, entrance and parking directions have changed.

Elkhart County Symphony has endured the pandemic shutdown, finding alternative ways to rehearse and perform during the past 15 months. Its members are excited to begin providing live concerts again in a manner that is safe for their audiences and the musicians.

Elkhart County Symphony Association employs more than 100 professional musicians in the county. The organization promotes cultural experiences and instills civic pride in the community by encouraging artistic integrity, providing innovative opportunities, and presenting musical programming through concerts, education, and special events.

Transfer VHS to DVD

To the good neighbor looking for VHS transfers to DVD, please call (574) 202-0097. I can transfer VHS and some camcorder video to DVD or digital files for you.

Seeking church

Good neighbors: Our church would love to have you visit. Our website is brbcmichiana. com. We are located in Osceola at the Shepherd’s Heart Fellowship church building. Our Pastor Kevin James can be reached at brbcmichiana@ gmail.com. God bless you!

To my neighbor seeking a church helping families stay together, my husband and I have benefited from articles on jw.org, particularly in the “Marriage and Family” section. The articles are Bible-based and they helped us learn how to apply Bible principles which really improved our relationship. There is also helpful content for parents, children and teenagers on the website. I hope it benefits your family as much as it did ours.
