KNOX, IN - Camden L. Combs, 19, died Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Knox, Indiana. He was born February 28, 2004, in Knox, to Brandon Combs and Cathryn Gummalauskas.
Camden enjoyed listening to music, watching YouTube, riding his dirt bike and spending time with friends and family. He worked as a plumber for Gulf Stream Coach.
He is survived by his father, Brandon (Keanna Knight) Combs of Knox, his mother, Cathryn Gummalauskas of Mishawaka, Indiana, one brother, Eddie and one sister, Payton.
Friends will be received from 11am till time of services, Saturday, June 10 at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Services will begin at 1pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.

DANIEL MICHAEL DIXON
FORT WAYNE, IN - FORMERLY OF KNOX, IN - Daniel Michael “Mickey” Dixon, 67, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at his home.
Mickey was a true gift and a gentle soul who knew no strangers and a teacher for all who would watch and listen. He made many friends throughout his life and enjoyed the company of housemates and staff at his Benchmark group home. He was the proud recipient of many Special Olympic medals for bowling. He loved to go fishing, talk about fishing and family trips to the North Forty in Canada.
He is survived by one brother, Brian (Kathy) Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Donna Dixon and one brother, Wayne Dixon. A private end of life celebration will take place at a later date.

KNOX, IN - Robert “Buster” Nies, 67, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Michigan City, Indiana. He was born October 25, 1955, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Robert and Betty (Elea) Nies.
Buster enjoyed playing guitars, making music, fixing guitars, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He had worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by one brother, Jake Nies and two sisters: Barbara (Jack) Bailey and Carolyn Miller, all of Knox. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Joey and Michael Nies.
Services will be held at a later date.

MARIE ANNETTE HAGERMAN
WINAMAC, IN - Marie Annette Hagerman, 71, died Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Winamac, Indiana. She was born August 10, 1951, in Waynesville, Georgia, to the late James Frederick and Vivian Clair (Reddick) Hunnicutt. On August 6, 1970, in Brunswick, Georgia, she married Daniel Lane Hagerman.
Marie was a loving and devoted homemaker and she enjoyed flower gardening, music and art. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel, one daughter, Jody Wyant of Elkhart, Indiana, one son, Wyatt Hagerman, one grandchild, two great grandchildren and one brother, Julian Carroll Hunnicutt of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by five sisters: Evelyn Eloise Harrell, Joyce Fay Kelly, Mary E. Little, Ruby King-Pope and Wanda LaFane Whitfield and three brothers: James Norman, Charles A. and Gerald W. Hunnicutt.
Private burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with the final expenses.

REEDIE SHEPHERD
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Reedie
Shepherd, 89, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Winamac, Indiana. He was born February 15, 1934, in Hindman, Kentucky, to the late Pearl and Sarah (Joseph) Shepherd. On December 28, 1957, in Knox, Indiana, he married Beverley Woosley.
Reedie served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion for many years. He had worked as a Union Laborer for Local 81 for 50 years. He loved to walk all over town, line fish for catfish on the Tippecanoe River, country and bluegrass music and had attended several festivals.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley, one daughter, Kim (Mike) Nevo of Scharlach-Preston, Mississippi, two sons: Reedie Joe Shepherd of North Judson and Gerald Ray (Kim) Shepherd of Winamac, Indiana, seven grandchildren, one step granddaughter, six great grandchildren with one on the way, two step great grandchildren, five sisters: Ruby Clemons and Elizabeth Trent, both of North Judson, Thelma Trent of Oregon, Sussanah Crossman of Indiana and Ruthenna McNevin of California and three brothers: Willie and Solomon Shepherd of North Judson and Kenny Shepherd of Union Mills, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Allen Shepherd Sr., three brothers: A.B., E.P. and infant Pearl Shepherd and two sisters: Helen Smith and Sylvia Pefferell.
Services were held Tuesday, May 23, at the O’Donnell Funeral Home, with Mack Howard officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson. Arrangements were made by O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson.

PORTAGE, IN - James “Jim” Ebling, 61, died Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Valparaiso, Indiana. He was born June 17, 1961, in Belleville, Illinois, to the late Robert and Sandra (Rauschkolb) Ebling.
Jim owned and operated Auto Tech Automotive in Valparaiso and was known as “Mr. Radiator”. He had worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, helping others and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Ebling, one son, Lee Ebling of Portage, two daughters: Rose Shinabargar of Tennessee and Brandy (Justin) Stephenson of Lafayette, Indiana, five grandchildren, one brother, Lawrence Schultz of Indiana and one sister, Janet (Don) Miller of Missouri. He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Ebling.

SAN PIERRE, IN - Tito J. Caudillo, 77, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in DeMotte, Indiana. He was born January 4, 1946, in East Chicago, Indiana, to the late Jose and Virginia (Cuevas) Caudillo. Tito was a veteran of the US Army and had worked as a union carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, being retired, traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Pearlie Caudillo, one son, Tito Caudillo Jr. and one daughter, Lynette Caudillo, both of Portage, Indiana, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three brothers: Mike (Martha) Hernandez of Knox, Indiana, Rudy Hernandez of Hobart, Indiana and Richard Caudillo of Monon, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Liana Caudillo, one grandson, Tyler Choucales, one brother, Paul Hernandez and one sister, Nellie Jackson.

BRADLEY NEAL CRAWFORD
Bradley “Brad” Neal Crawford, 67, of Winamac, passed away at 2:50 am on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his home in Winamac. Brad was born on December 13, 1955 to John and Florence Crawford in Logansport, Indiana. On May 30, 2021, he married his best friend, Beth, in a small chapel on a beloved fishing lake in northern Minnesota. Brad was a 1974 graduate of Winamac Community High School and afterwards attended Franklin College, ultimately attending and graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1982. He was an accomplished athlete in both high school and college. While at Franklin College, Brad was part of the track & field and football teams. He earned numerous awards and continues to hold several records. He was an All-American football player and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000. Nevertheless, he stood out as the epitome of humility, a man one was honored to encounter. Brad’s ultimate dream, however, was to return to his hometown to pursue his profession of general dentistry and enjoy his passion for hunting and fishing. Brad was an avid outdoorsman and frequently enjoyed fishing locally on Lake Maxinkuckee. In recent years, he and Beth also enjoyed spending time on several lakes in northern Minnesota. He was an accomplished fisherman and loved catching walleye, perch, and bluegill. Despite Brad’s numerous accomplishments, his greatest pride and joy was his baby, Kelsey. His role as a father was the one which gave him the most joy, and he often spoke of how proud he was of the young woman that Kelsey had become. Brad was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include daughter, Florence “Kelsey” Crawford; wife, Beth RuffCrawford; brother, Keven Crawford, Winamac; sister, Tina (Steve) Knebel, Winamac; Beth’s sons, Jake (Jenna) Ruff of Rochester and Josh (Hayley) Ruff of Fishers; Grandson Calvin Abraham Ruff of Fishers; Mother-in-law, Barbara Halleck, of Winamac; brother-in-law, Tom (Tammy) Halleck of Star City; sistersin-law, Jennifer (Dan) Knebel of Winamac and Cyndi (Joe) Garnett, Westfield, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Crawford and father in law, Thomas Halleck, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Winamac. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery West in Pulaski.Memorial contributions can be made to the Lake Maxinkuckee Environmental Fund, PO Box 187, Culver, Indiana 46511.
