Sue, We thought the attached picture depicted a perfect sunset from our screened-in porch on Lake Papakeechie in Syracuse. Hope you agree!
–Brian and Lisa Bollow
Indeed, I concur!
Dear Sue, We really wanted to thank you for featuring our home in the May issue of LAKElife Magazine. We have received so many texts and comments on the article. It was a great article. Thank you again. We really enjoy reading the magazine each month.
–Dee Beer
Thank you, Dee, for the privilege to share your story.

Hi Sue, I came to the lake today, headed to the end of the pier, and started reading LAKElife magazine. I soon realized you are the editor of the magazine; what a wonderful surprise! I have always enjoyed reading magazines you have been a part of over the years. Keep up the beautiful work! I’ve spent pretty much my entire life coming to the lake so thought I would share a couple photos I’ve taken this summer. Fondly,
–Beth Wetherill
It’s SO great to hear from you, Beth! Thank you for the kind comments + blessings to you + yours.

Hello!! I was reading your magazine and saw that I could be featured in it!! I love to read these each month and really enjoy seeing the pictures others put in. The picture I chose was taken during my favorite time of the day—sunset. On Lake Webster there are some of the BEST sunsets I’ve ever seen. And I look forward to watching them each summer. Thank you!!
–Izzy McCulloch
Here you go, Izzy! Keep soaking in those sunsets; they’re good for the soul. Hi Sue, I have been wanting to send this picture in for a LONG time! Here’s our pups Diego (standing) and McNally on the back of our pontoon enjoying Irish Lake! LOVE your magazine!!
–Gina and Greg Gebhardt
I’m so glad you sent it in! I’ll include Diego + McNally on this issue’s ‘Celebrations’ spread, too. Beautiful pic!

Hi Sue, We saw in one of the LAKElife magazines that we could send in kids' fishing pictures for possibly having them in the magazine, so we thought we’d send a few. I grew up in Warsaw but live in Fort Wayne now, and our family did a week’s vacation on Lake Webster—where our 7-year-old son, Nathan, and 5-year-old daughter, Julia, caught these fish. Thanks!
–Michael Cotton
You saw correctly! Thank you for submitting the images… see our PhotoFun spread in this issue for your fave fisherpeeps! Such a cute idea!! Please see attached for some great pup pics!! You may have a future journalist :)

Consider your pup hired!
Hello Sue, Just wanted to let you know that the page 76 article in the April issue on ‘Uncork the Possibilities’ is cool. That is my dream room and is on my long bucket list. We have just completed one of the most coastal kitchens on Irish Lake. Included in this email are some sample pictures. You really gotta’ see it! And surprise, there is what we call the front door effect as well. If you are looking for an article, this may work. Love the magazine!!! Tell Ron, Lee and I said Hi!!!!!!!!!
–Mark & Lee Baumgartner, Irish Lake
Consider your message forwarded, and methinks we can plan on a Coastal Kitchen story on Irish Lake during season 2023. Open a front door + I’ll happily enter!
