Taking on the role of Executive Director this past year has been fulfilling and rewarding in ways I could not have imagined. Getting

to know the businesses and the individuals who are the driving force behind them has been my honor!

I am a communicator and collaborator. In my short tenure, I have worked diligently to forge relationships with local community organizations, non-profit entities, local government, economic development resources, downtown business merchants, and individuals who want to make Kendallville a better place to live. This is alongside meeting over 80 members, in person, to better understand their products and services to promote and advocate for them.

The Chamber worked with two local downtown businesses to host The Family Harvest Festival, the return of Main Street’s version of Apple Festival. The Shop Small Saturday event this year included all of Kendallville and boasted a free shuttle ride option and passport of participating businesses.

KENDALLVILLE AND NOBLE COUNTY

Parents in Noble County have several school choices, including public school corporations (East Noble, Central Noble, and West Noble), private options, and specialized early education. Options include traditional public, charter, and, through income-eligible scholarships, private school opportunities.

Public School Districts (Traditional)

East Noble School Corporation (Kendallville): Offers seven schools (PK-12). East Noble Preschool, Northside Elementary, Southside Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary, East Noble Middle School, East Noble Academy, and East Noble High School.

Central Noble Community School Corporation (Albion): Offers Central Noble Primary School, Central Noble Elementary, Central Noble JR/SR High, and is piloting a microschool for grades 8+.
