elcome to the 2018 Builders Parade Express Tour, brought to you by the Builders Association of Northeast Indiana (BANI). We invite you to tour our event showcasing 6 outstanding homes: 5 new homes and 1 remodeled home. These homes represent BANI and some of the finest builders/remodelers the area has to offer.

This year’s event is an “Express Tour”; we have these beautiful homes open for 1 day only. The tour doors open at 10:00 and close at 5:00. It will be a quick day, but well worth driving around, so don’t miss the outer lying homes – they have a lot to show off to you.

Each entry offers unique design ideas, one of a kind interior design, outdoor living environments, new innovations and custom details to entice you to take the plunge and build or remodel your dream. Be sure to recognize all the fine craftsmanship, architecture and artistry that our Builder Members and our Associate Members put into each home to fill them with character.

6510 W. Orland Road Angola IN 46703 | Lake Gage Every project we do is special and unique in its individual ways just like customers. Jeff and Elaine Kleeman of “Feline Groovy” are special customers.

Elaine had the vision and it shows in every aspect of their home. The renovation that took place on their 30-year-old home was incredible. It involved virtually a complete renovation of the existing first floor, replacement of Andersen windows throughout and a complete exterior renovation. The first floor was expanded to include a large living room with windows on all sides and a screen porch for those warm lake nights. A large composite deck on the lakeside was added with plenty of room for gathering. The features of the Azek deck include low voltage lighting and vertical cable railing. The complete exterior of the house was reworked including new soffits, fascias and siding. The upscale siding was a unique eggplant color and is accented well with composite trim.

The one component of this project that no one will forget is the expanded and completely renovated kitchen. With beautiful Kraftmaid maple cabinets, the contrasting stain finish of maple cognac makes this kitchen one of a kind. Then the granite countertops and backsplash in Kashmir cream highlights the fine cabinetry. Features of the kitchen include tile accents around the crown molding that contains indirect lighting. Toe kick lighting, under cabinet lights and in-cabinet lighting are also unique components. The list of special products and features in this project are endless.
