~2023 Triple Crown Winner~ Willy’s Little Ann
Owned by Ellis Keen and Jr Gray of London Kentucky. Eric Emery is born and raised here in Starke County and has grown up in Competition Coon Hunting. He has been all over the United States competing with some of the best dogs in the world. This year, Eric and Little Ann sealed the deal winning the Triple Crown Race by winning hunts in the state of Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Indiana and finally wrapping it all up in Ohio! There was no other dog to win every hunt in all these states! When we asked Eric what it meant to him to finally win this sought after competition, his response was “if it wasn’t for all of my family and friends that support and help us along the way, none of this would be possible! It takes a village of people to work together and that’s what it takes to be successful!” He said he would also like to thank all the local land owners and farmers that allow him to hunt on their property. (They know who they are). Without their permission, getting to prepare every night at a high level in preparation for these trips wouldn’t be possible. With this win, it puts Little Ann’s earnings over $35,000 for the year!
Eric smiled and said “We’re just getting started!”
Congratulations to Eric Emery and Willy’s little Ann!!
