TAMMY L. HAUNN
WINAMAC, IN - Tammy L. Haunn, 50, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was born April 4, 1973, at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois, to Francis and Julie (Sweeney) Owens.

Tammy moved to Winamac in 2007 and worked at Good Oil in Winamac and Medallion Cabinetry in Culver, Indiana. Most recently, she was employed at Freedman Mobility in Leiters Ford, Indiana. She was a talented cook and enjoyed crocheting, playing horseshoes, puzzles, spending time outdoors kayaking on the Tippecanoe River. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her companion, Paul Luecht of Winamac, three daughters: Kristy M. Haunn of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Kayla R. Haunn of Delaware, Ohio and Kasidi S. (Pablo Torrico Alvarez) Haunn of Sylvania, Ohio, two grandchildren, her father, Francis (Debbie) Owens, step father, Darrell Jordan and two half siblings: Jaymee and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her mother, Julie Owens Jordan.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

DEXTER R. SPARKS
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Dexter R. Sparks, 59, died Friday, May 5, 2023. He was born September 28, 1963, in Knox, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Sparks, children: Dexter (Chelsi) Sparks Jr. of Plymouth, Indiana and Cassandra (Jake Kuskye) Sparks of Etna Green, Indiana, five grandchildren with one on the way, his mother, Mary Ann Wheeler of Knox, one brother, Ed (Pam) Sparks of Walkerton, Indiana and one sister, Lora (Lenner) Clemons of Bourbon, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Sparks, one grandson, Gatlin Sparks and one brother, Rodney Sparks.

Services were held Friday, May 12, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson.
Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
MARK ALLEN SAYER
PLYMOUTH, IN - Mark Allen Sayer, 61, died Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born March 4, 1962, in Athens, Ohio, to the late Jack Allen and Dixie Lee (Lewis) Sayer.
Mark had worked in IT at both Rockwell Windows in Knox, Indiana and at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana. He loved music, attending concerts, going to the movies especially Marvel movies and sitting on his back deck with a cigar, a book and an iced black coffee “catching rays”.
He is survived by one daughter, Katherine (Justin) Ruff of Winamac, three grandchildren, his stepmother, Eva McInturf-Sayer of Knox, one sister, Angie (Patrick) Jesuit of Knox and one brother, Joe Woodward of Knox. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Sayer.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

MICHAEL MAJCHRZAK
KNOX, IN - Michael Majchrzak, 76, died Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born June 5, 1946, in Hamlet, Indiana to the late Joseph and Emily (Zornowski) Majchrzak.
Mike enjoyed baling hay, raising hogs and spending time with his family. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by one son, Michael (MaLinda) Majchrzak and one daughter, Jamie (Danny) Lemke, both of Knox, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three more on the way and one brother, John Majchrzak of Grovertown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Majchrzak, one son, Mark Majchrzak, two brothers: Joey and Bill Majchrzak and one sister, Rosie Majchrzak.
Services were held Friday, May 12, at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Wes Radtke officiating. Burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox. Contributions may be made to the family.

JOHN MICHAEL MAJCHRZAK
GROVERTOWN, IN - John Michael Majchrzak, 81, died, Monday, May 8, 2023, at his home. He was born September 18, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Emily (Zornowski) Majchrzak.
John was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was hard working and was from a proud family of farmers. He will be remembered for sitting on his porch, in his orange ball cap, watching birds, kids playing and horses passing by.
He is survived by his life companion, Gloria Jean Majchrzak, two daughters: Kathy (Mike) Wolfe of Marion, Indiana and Lynnette Finnegan of Culver, Indiana, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Salyer, one sister, Rose Majchrzak and three brothers: William, Joseph and Michael Majchrzak. No service will be held at this time.

JEANNETTE G. ZARING
MULBERRY, IN - FORMERLY OF MONON, IN & MONTICELLO, INJeannette G. (Pfledderer) Zaring, 92, died Monday, May 8, 2023 at Mulberry Health. She was born April 14, 1931, in Rensselaer, Indiana, to the late George C. and Marie L. (Remm) Pfledderer. On October 3, 1958, in Winamac, Indiana, she married William C. Zaring. He died on April 1, 2010.
Jeannette attended the Methodist church and had worked at Alloy Rods in Monticello from 1969-1984 and then worked at Monticello Health Care as an aide. She was a former member of White County AMVETS, where she also worked as a custodian during her retirement years. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and was an avid and frequent winner of Bingo. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by one son, Richard L. (Melissa) Zaring of Lafayette, Indiana, one step daughter, Lorena A. (Bill) Lucy of Monticello, one step son, Martin C. Lamberti of Rockford, Illinois, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katherine Beckhoff, nine brothers: William H., Albert G., Paul F., Infant Roy, John C., Adam R., Robert H., Raymond E. and Leslie E. Pfledderer and six sisters: Katherine L. Rosenkranz, Marie M. Spaeth, Ann T. Henzler, Clara M. LaHue, Donna R. Faris and Alice M. Kopka.
Graveside services were held Monday, May 15, at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville, Indiana, with Pastor Trey Garner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to White County AMVETS.

ROBERT W. WUETHRICH
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Robert W. “Bob” Wuethrich, 94, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville, Indiana. He was born October 25, 1928, in Rensselaer, Indiana, to the late Christian and Barbara (Pelsy) Wuethrich. On March 11, 1951, in Milford, Indiana, he married Phyllis Haab.
Bob was a 1946 graduate of Francesville High School. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Francesville American Legion, where he played taps at fallen veteran’s funerals for over 20 years. He was a member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, three daughters: Rebecca (Dan) Gudeman, Bobbi (Kent) Erb and Bonnie (Mark) Vollmer, all of Westfield, Indiana, four sons: Bruce (Kathy) Wuethrich of Francesville, Blake (Kim) Wuethrich of Noblesville, Indiana, Reggie Wuethrich of Roanoke, Illinois and Andy (Jill) Wuethrich of Peoria, Illinois, twenty two grandchildren and thirty eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jordan Wuethrich, eight sisters: Theresa Von Tobel, Wilma Steward, Velda Overmyer, Mildred Huber, Eliazbeth Schambach, Glendoris Huber, Genevieve Schambach and Barbara Ellen Wuethrich and four brothers: Willis, David, Richard and Chris Lee Wuethrich.
Services were held Thursday, May 11, at the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church with Ministers of the Church officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery, Francesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian HarvestCall.

HELEN L. PETERS
WINAMAC, IN - Helen L. Peters, 94, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Hickory Creek @ Winamac in Winamac, Indiana. She was born October 8, 1928, in Winamac, to the late Carroll H. and Esther K. (Wiesjahn) Skinner.
On December 5, 1948, at Pleasant Hill Church, she married Willard H. Peters. He died September 14, 2019.
Helen was a graduate of Winamac High School. She was a founding member of the Tippecanoe Twirlers and the Twilight Twenty Home-Ec Club as well as a 50 year member of Tippecanoe Chapter #96 OES. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Church, where she faithfully played the organ for over 60 years. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States with her husband. Their most cherished trips were to Redbird Mission and Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, where they served as missionaries. Helen had previously worked as a teller at First National Bank in Monterey, Indiana as well as a cook at the Pulaski County Jail in Winamac. She enjoyed quilting, spending time at Lake Bruce, baking pies and serving the Lord by serving others.
She is survived by three daughters: Connie (Don) Reid and Linda (Dan) Ruhl, both of Star City, Indiana and Joan (Ray) Schultz of Medaryville, Indiana, eleven grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one infant great grandson, Will Powlen and two brothers: Harry C. and Marion G. Skinner.
Services were held, Tuesday, May 16, at Pleasant Hill Lake Bruce Community Church, with Chaplain Todd Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lake Bruce. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Maintenance Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Nichole “Nicky” Danette Riggs
Nichole “Nicky” Danette Riggs, 50, of Fishers, previously living in Kokomo for twenty-plus years, passed away on May 8, 2023. She was born on February 27, 1973, in LaPorte, Indiana to Jack and Edie Matthews. On September 9, 2005, in Peru, Indiana, she married Brad Riggs.
Nicky was a 1991 graduate of Knox Community High School and was currently working at Allison Transmissions. She loved spending time with her family, being outdoors, camping, and gardening. Nicky considered her mom to be her best friend. Nicky was a very hard-working and loving woman.
Nicky is survived by her loving husband, Brad Riggs; children: Justin Centers, Taylor (Devon) Sharpe, Zach (fiancee, Darian Murphy) Riggs, Haley Riggs, and Ian Riggs; mother, Edie (Kenny) Johnsen; father, Jack (Janet) Matthews; brother, Jason Matthews; step-brother, Brian (Evelyn) Johnsen; grandchildren, Waylon, Naomi, Paislee, Monty, and Wyatt; father-in-law, Phillip Riggs; sisters-in-law, Shelly Riggs, Wendy (Chris Sheedy) Riggs, Sandy (David Lockridge) Maxwell; and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bob Frazier, and mother-in-law, Pamela Riggs.
Services were held on Monday, May 15, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory in Anderson, Indiana, with Mike Young officiating. Burial was in the Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home to help with expenses.
GERALDINE RUTH HOFFER
KNOX, IN - Geraldine Ruth Hoffer, 74, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, in La Porte, Indiana. She was born February 10, 1949, in Binghamton, New York, to the late Raymond Myers and Flora (Smith) Novak.
Geraldine enjoyed watching the birds, shopping, casinos, watching movies and game shows, fishing cookouts with family and spending time with her dog and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Hoffer, two sons: Richard (Julie) Hamby of Hamlet, Indiana and David (Melissa) Hamby of Knox, one daughter, Jenifer (Michael) Tibbs of Knox, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Myers of Monterey, Indiana. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Anthony Cameno, one brother, James Myers and two sisters: Carol Brewer and Arlene Franko.
Friends will be received 10am till time of service at 1pm, Wednesday, May 17, at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Services will begin at 1pm with Pastor Albert Tolson officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
