President’s Welcome
I consider myself privileged to represent the West Lakes Association as your President (2020 – 2022). I have been a West Lakes resident for over 20 years. We have a lot to be proud of with our beautiful lakes and wonderful community.
Despite COVID making it difficult to have in person meetings in both 2020 and 2021, we were still able to accomplish a lot, including some major dredging in Jones and Steinbarger lakes. This year we are off to a wonderful summer season and The West Lakes Association will continue to work on river clean-up and weed spraying in hopes of helping reduce flooding.
The West Lakes Association does so many things for the lake residents. Being a member of the Association is extremely important and the dues received ensure that we can continue to fund these programs. The dues you pay are a small way to help to protect your investment. The Association board is made up of volunteer residents that are concerned about the serious matters that are currently causing issues and ensuring that we are prepared for whatever may be in our future. Additionally, The West Lakes Association wants to have FUN (think Boat Parade and PotLuck meetings!). Besides joining the association, please also consider signing up to volunteer for a fundraising event. We always try to make it fun!

My wife Linda and I look forward to meeting all of you. We also would like to give a big welcome to any new residents.
Sincerely,
Ned Lichtsinn, President
