ST. PATRICK’S DAY FUN FACTS!

Take a Multiple-Choice Quiz By Friedrich Gomez Not only is St. Paddy’s Day on March 17, but the entire month of March is officially designated across the entire United States as: “Irish American Heritage Month.” Approximately 162 million Americans – more than 20 times Ireland’s population – plan to celebrate on this year’s St. Patrick’s Day. And Irish Americans won’t be the only ones donning the green to join the fun! As the Irish are fond of saying:

“Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!” I love the Irish and everything about them. And I can’t possibly imagine the world without them. (real name), changed all of that and taught us something special: that school can actually be fun! And learning can be an exciting adventure of the mind and imagination! And he proved it, over and over, as I have mentioned in a past story on Mark Twain. He once came dressed as Mark Twain – true story – and spoke of a small boy just like me who also hated school, church sermons, and all those unbreakable rules.

THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY THAT CHANGED THE LIVES OF ME & MY SCHOOL CLASSMATES! One magical and exciting day just happened to be on St. Patrick’s Day, and Mr. Steitzer came to class dressed all in green as a Leprechaun! And that’s the Gospel truth! The entire class collapsed in loud, uncontrolled laughter as he sat on a stool in front of us, crossed his legs, and stroked his fake bright-red beard . . . and he even had a long curled pipe in his mouth!
