Lindsey Claire Gant and Hunter Fredrick West were united in marriage at half past 6 in the evening of July 18, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. The ceremony was performed by Brock Gee.
The Bride is the daughter of Jeff Gant of Pope and Lisa Roberson Gant of Charleston. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Roberson of Charleston and Ms. Sandra Gant of Pope.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nolan West of Sardis. His grandparents are Mrs. Grace West and the late Hal West of Sardis and Mrs. Georgia Evans and the late Billy Evans of Como. Mrs. Georgia now resides in Batesville.
The bride was escorted by her father in a beautiful embellished, candle light lace with a sweetheart neckline and sleeves that fall off the shoulders with a long cathedral train. She knew it was made for her the moment she tried it on. Attending the bride as Matrons of Honor were Julianna Guckert and Hastings Neal. Bridesmaids included Delaney Miller, Marley Gant, Caleigh Gant, Meri Maci Autrey, Tabitha West, Kayla Dunlap, Madelyn Lawrence, Callie McRight, Anna Sloan Clayton, Kayleigh Mitchell, Laney Shemwell, Erin Snider, Laura Beth Parker and Emily Wells.
The flower girls were Elyse & Audrey West, nieces of the bride and groom, Ruth Sawyer Hallmark, Georgia Petit, Anniston Nickle, Louise Burke and Leah Klytta.
Nolan West, Father of the groom served as best man.
Groomsmen included Evan West, brother of the groom, Carter Gant, Austin Gant, both brothers of the bride, Cody Edlin, Johnny McAurthur, BJ Hood, Jonathan Fortner, Cameron Goodwin, Jim Tyler Dalrymple, Bailey Guckert, Kaleb Foshee, Hunter Moore and Julius Anderson.
The ring bearers were Sawyer Moore, Rhett Nickle, Jensen and Landry Wells and Harper Carson.
The ceremony was a long awaited one as the Bride and Groom had it postponed once already due to the pandemic. It was an elegant and beautiful ceremony. Soloist, Suzie Van Dyke did a wonderful job with the music along with Shelby Grace Boone. The day was captured perfectly by photographer and Aunt of the Bride, Lori Anderson. After the wedding, a reception was hosted by the Bride’s family at the Panola Country Club in Batesville. The bride and groom celebrated with dinner and dancing with their friends and families. The band, The Groove Factor, put on a wonderful performance that had most of the bridal party, guests and the bride and groom jumping in the pool by the end of the night. Let’s just say it was a hot and humid July night!
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at Chickasaw Lodge in Sardis. The ladies of the Heflin House in Sardis prepared a wonderful meal.
The couple are at home in Sardis, Miss. Where Claire is in sales at Dunlap & Kyle in Batesville and Hunter works on the family farm.

Madilyn Grace Sullivant and Cody Glen Gray were united in marriage at six o’clock in the evening on December 5, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Paul Middleton.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Barefoot of Charleston and Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Sullivant of Batesville. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Danny Smith of Batesville, Mr. Gerald Legge, Sr. of Senatobia, Ms. Pat Sullivant of Pope, and the late Mr. S.C. Sullivant.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Gray of Batesville. His grandparents are the late Ms. Mary Ann Wilson, the late Mr. Jack Wilson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Gray.
Escorted by her father and her grandfather, the bride wore a Crisp Mikado strappy- ballgown, featuring an illusion bow at the back and a rhinestone belt around the waist. The dress was complimented with a cathedral-length veil featuring a sparkled floral border. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses wrapped with lace from her mother’s wedding dress.
Attending the bride as maids of honor were MaryAlden Sullivant and Jayni Claire Linder. Bridesmaids included Allison Heppner, Anna Lloyd, Charley Ann Nix, Ginger Stephens, and Jenny White. The junior bridesmaids were Rylee Bright, Alaina Brooke Masterson, and Riley Sullivant.
Haven Hardenburgh and Annie Sullivant served as flower girls.
The bridesmaids wore steel-blue off the shoulder gowns with crepe bodices featuring trapunto satin sashes and matte charmeuse skirts.
Ricky Gray, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen included Addison Andrews, Josh Cobb, Reed Davis, Peyton Douglas, Kent Hill, Tyler Mize, John Jeffrey Nelson, Zach Parisi, Hunter Robison, and Blake Sullivant.
Cyp Sullivant served as ring bearer.
The couple recited their vows surrounded by beautifully lit Christmas trees. Mrs. Jill Roberts directed the wedding. Photographer, Christina Houston and videographer, Kayla Wolfe captured memories of the evening’s events. Bouquets and floral arrangements were designed by Blossoms. Nuptial music was provided by Connie Haley, pianist, and Jiwon Lee, violinist. Jordan Thweatt’s beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night” emphasized the couples’ faith in the
Lord.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride at the Wilbourn Building. The bride and groom were chauffeured to the reception by Terry Williams in a 1957 Blue Chevy. Friends and family of the newlyweds enjoyed dinner catered by Simply Sullivants and danced to the music of the Tatum Shappley Band. The evening ended with guest’s giving the couple a sparkler sendoff. Due to the circumstances surrounding the pandemic, the couple has postponed their honeymoon to Cancun until August.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner for the couple and their wedding party at the Wilbourn Building.
The couple is at home in Batesville, MS, where Maddie is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Lakewood Dental, and Cody is employed at his family’s business Batesville Overhead Door.
