Public Education With A Vision

The North Panola School District consists of five schools which are governed by a school board who work cooperatively and collaboratively to provide a quality education in a safe environment for all students in the school district.

The school district is currently serving 1,841 students from the North Panola area.

Como Elementary offers pre-kindergarten through eighth grade classes. The principal is Dawn Weed Ausbon.

At Crenshaw Elementary School, Gilda Thomas is the principal, and the school serves grades kindergarten through eight.

Grades pre-kindergarten through eight are served at Green Hill Elementary where Lakeldra Pride is the principal.

The high school in the district is North Panola for grades nine through twelve. Anthony Barnes is the principal.

The Como Vo-Tech Center is located on the campus of the Como Elementary School and offers a variety of diversified technology classes for its students.

A variety of co-curricular and extra curricular activities are available to the students at different grade level. Athletics are available at the higher elementary levels and at the high school level, along with band and music programs. Art programs are also available.

Each school has an active Parent Teacher Organization. These groups serve as a link between the school, the home and the community and help in keeping the lines of communication open.

Our focus is on providing a quality education, with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens to all of our students.
