Right now it’s super exciting around here. We are all talking about the re-launch of The Paisley Pony Magazine!

Ok…so you might say- why would I… Daisy… be excited? I’m 3 ½ ish- I’m not very worldly- I’m a bit self-centered… what do I have to be excited about?

Let me tell you. What I lack in worldly-ness … my friends do not. Dodger is like a pony Buddha/yoda…Dylan is kind of like Yogi Berra (simple but profound in a kind of Forest Gump-ish way) …Leo has seen and been through things that most would not want to- he’s had serious life altering stuff in his life… and then there’s me.

When it was mentioned that I was going to have a column- Buddy’s Tails came up. Now I’m not sure how many of you know Buddy- but I do know he was something special! He had quite a story and he overcame a lot to go the places he did! Dodger took it upon himself to do a bit of research and read Buddy’s columns. Buddy was majorly diverse, deep and kind of all over the place! He talked about everything from the robins arriving in the spring to baseball- and he always had a reason as to why. I’m going to try and learn from him! My goal is to learn…see the world in other ways…not just in ways that matter to me. Because truth be told- if it doesn’t involve food or dressing up- the old me wasn’t interested! That’s changing!

I’m putting a new hoof forward. I’m going to try and expand my world…try and see things outside of just what affects me. Dodger, Leo and Dylan are willing to help me…and I know we will make a formidable team! Who knows what we can discuss or where we can go! I might even ask for a contract with a jet clause in it … don’t laugh…I see myself running on a beautiful sandy beach… super kind humans stationed around holding organic carrots with greens on top… grooming stations where I get all my itches taken care of… ok…maybe not so glorious… but a lot of things can be discussed and it’s time for me to grow up a bit and do my part.
