“Being in this industry of “Hair” is part of my heritage! My father’s dad, “Granddaddy” Floyd Linscomb, cut hair for years here in Orange at his barbershop. Cove Barbershop! I hear stories from people all the time about how he cut so many generations of hair in our community! It’s an honor to carry on his legacy! My mother’s dad “Poppē” was Native American and he and my Maw Maw’s wedding rings were sterling silver and turquoise. She wore a traditional turquoise ring on every finger. This began my love for turquoise and is why I chose this beautiful color to represent my salon! Also why I selected this squash blossom necklace for our photo shoot!
We would like to thank our community for this awesome award. We’ve had the opportunity to serve our community over the past 13 years and plan to continue for many more! We’ve gotten to share in many of our clients special times of their lives! First haircuts, weddings, proms, styled hair for family reunions, funerals. We’ve been there to cut hair for someone going through chemo who have already lost a lot. We’ve been there for the first day of school cuts, for our men who run in after work in uniform and need to get a quick cut. For our women who faithfully come to their appointment every 6 weeks. For our new moms who need a pick me up. For the everyday person who just needs to change up their look to spice up their life. And of course our clients coming for other services we offer such as waxing, nails, massage, facials etc. We’ve come in early, on weekends, stayed after hours! Our clients are our family!
