since the start of the year, according to WHO data. Monkeypox infections have primarily been spread from men having sex with men, as the virus exploits social networks among people in close contact. This is already a concern, but spreading more broadly means the potential added challenge of trying to educate and protect a broader population, health experts say. Health authorities and vaccine efforts have been focusing outreach among gay and bisexual men, since the outbreak so far has primarily been concentrated in that population. However, there are also two known pediatric cases in the United States, one in a toddler in California and another in an infant in Washington, D.C., according to the CDC.
The two cases are likely the result of household transmissions and don’t appear to be related, but according to a CDC spokeswoman, both cases are under investigation. Although symptomatic, both children are receiving treatment and are in good health. In the case of children, Monkeypox could spread through activities like holding, cuddling, feeding and sharing items like towels and bedding, the CDC said Monday. The Mount Rushmore of Cowboy football Peyton Little Staff Reporter Nearly every American is familiar with Mount Rushmore. The 60 foot monument depicting the heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln on the side of a South Dakotan mountain in the Black Hills is ingrained as one of the most iconic American landmarks, as well as a great tourist attraction for those visiting. For many sports fans, the term “Mount Rushmore” is sometimes used in determining the greatest of their sport. It acts almost as a top four list, but without any real ranking. All of this to say, what if Oklahoma State were to build a “Mount Rushmore” of its own?
