MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ALL THE STAFF
Day 1 We begin our journey with an early departure, making comfort stop en route to Trentham Country Estate and a quick stop at Gretna Green. We arrive at the Doubletree by Hilton Westerwood Hotel in the late afternoon, where you can settle in before dinner is served.
Day 2 Our day begins with a visit to the historic city of Stirling, Explore the Old Town, dominated by the impressive Castle, once home of Scottish kings. After time to explore Stirling, we continue to the charming town Callander, home to the Rob Roy & Trossachs Visitor Centre. The highlight of the day is a delightful circular cruise on Loch Katrine, set amidst the stunning scenery of the Trossachs. The Loch is steeped in history, with connections to Queen Victoria, Sir Walter Scott and the legendary Rob Roy MacGregor.
Day 3 Step back in time as we embark on a memorable journey along the shores of the River Forth aboard the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway. We then visit The Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures, which stand over 100 feet tall and pay tribute to Scotland’s horse powered heritage and are a sight to behold. Our day continues with a trip on the unique Falkirk Wheel, the world’s first and only rotating boat lift. Experience the thrill of sailing along the canal, while taking in the panoramic views from this remarkable engineering marvel.
Day 4 What a treat we have today as we embark on an unforgettable boat cruise on the Firth of Forth. Relax onboard the 1.5-hour cruise of this UNESCO World Heritage site, taking in the spectacular Three Bridges, the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline and Inchcolm Island with its medieval abbey. In the afternoon we head to Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh. You’ll have time to explore the city at your own pace, and for a panoramic view of the city, consider hopping on one of the many open-top sightseeing buses.

Day 5 After an early breakfast, we bid a fond farewell to Bonnie Scotland. We begin our journey home with comfort stop to take in the pottery experience of Stoke-on-Trent at Middleport Pottery, taking with us the wonderful memories of this scenic and historic tour.

Day 4 We journey up the Atlantic coast, starting with Boscastle, a picturesque natural harbour and village predominantly owned by the National Trust. Next, we visit Tintagel, a place steeped in the legend of King Arthur. Here, you can explore the visitor centre, King Arthur’s Halls, or the 13th century castle (entry not included). Our coastal adventure continues with a stop in Port Issac, recently featured in the film ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ and wellknown as the TV setting for ‘Doc Martin’.

Day 3 Today we explore the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, nestled amidst the stunning Warwickshire countryside. Wander through its black and white timbered buildings, visit Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare rests, or opt for a serene canal cruise to soak in the Old English charm.
Day 4 As our memorable retreat draws to a close, we enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check-out. We make a stop at Cirencester, known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’. Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, it boasts a fascinating history dating back to Roman times when it was the second largest town in the country after London. Explore the town’s attractions before we embark on our journey home.

Day 4 Our excursion today takes us to the historical City of Salisbury, famed for its medieval cathedral, home to one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta. Take time to explore the Old City centre, with its cobbled street, unique shops, and historic pubs including the Haunch of Venison Pub, one of the oldest and most haunted pubs in Salisbury.
Day 5 After breakfast and checkout, we’ll set off to visit Poole, a bustling coastal town known for its award-winning beaches and Europe’s largest natural harbour. Enjoy free time to explore the Dolphin Shopping Centre, take a leisurely walk along the quay, or visit the famous Poole pottery shop. We will embark on our homeward journey with comfort stops enroute.

Day 1 Welcome aboard as we travel to the charming seaside retreat of Llandudno with comfort stops along the way. Arriving at The Baytree Hotel in the late afternoon, you’ll be warmly greeted with a traditional “Croeso i Gymru” (Welcome to Wales) .
Day 2 Today we journey through the scenic Vale of Conwy to the charming village of Bets-y-Coed, a popular inland resort with enchanting Alpine ambiance. Explore quaint shops, tea rooms and cafes. Our adventure continues with a breathtaking drive through Snowdonia National Park, passing through the historic slate quarry town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. We then continue to Portmadog, one of the largest towns in Snowdonia for a brief stop before returning to Llandudno.
Day 3 Today is yours to enjou in Llandudno, this delightful Victorian seaside resort at your own pace. You might like to take a leisurely stroll along the Promenade, admire the views from the Victorian pier - the longest in Wales, or enjoy a ride on the Great Orme Tramway, the UK’s only funicular tramway that has been captivating visitors since 1902 with stunning coast views.
Day 4 Following breakfast, we venture to The Isle of Anglesey, separated from the Welsh mainland by the Menai Strait. Witness breathtaking landscapes, unspoiled coastlines featuring sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, and rocky coves. We’ll visit the captivating seaside town of Beaumaris, known for its blend of architectural styles. Be sure to take a stroll along the seafront to savour the views over the Menai Straight and distant peaks of Snowdonia.
Day 5 As our holiday draws to a close, we bid “hwyl fawr” (goodbye) to North Wales to begin our journey home. En route, we’ll make a stop at Trentham Estate, famed for award-winning gardens, a charming shopping village, and an extensive garden centre. (Note: entry to gardens not included).

Day 1 Our delightful journey begins as we travel south to the picturesque coastal town of Bournemouth. With comfort stops along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenic drive. We arrive at the Sands Hotel in the late afternoon, where you can check in and relax before dinner.
Day 2 Today, we start with a visit to Lymington, a historic coastal town renowned for its rich heritage and a vibrant Saturday Street market. In the afternoon, we embark on a scenic spring drive through the breathtaking New Forest National Park, where you may spot some of the 5,000 ponies that roam freely. We’ll also visit one of the charming villages in the area, offering you a chance to explore and soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful region.
Day 3 Enjoy a leisure day to explore Bournemouth at your own pace and leisure. With over seven miles of award-winning Blue Flag golden beaches, a bustling town centre filled with excellent shops, bars, and restaurants, and a variety of interesting museums and attractions. Enjoy a stroll through the lush Winter Gardens, walk along the pier, or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea at a local tearoom.
Day 4 After a hearty breakfast, we will venture to Portsmouth, the historic heart of maritime England. Here, you can explore the Historic Dockyards and marvel at iconic ships like the Mary Rose, which was salvaged from the Solent in 1982. With so much to see and do, there is sure to be something to captivate your interest. (please note that entry to Dockyards not included)
Day 5 Sadly our seaside escape comes to an end. We bid farewell to Bournemouth. Before our final journey home, set off for a short visit to historic charming Winchester, where you can grab some lunch and perhaps explore the city’s quaint streets or Cathedral.

Day 1 Our adventure begins with an early start as we head to Heysham to board the afternoon ferry to Douglas. Comfort stops along the way. Upon arrival in Douglas, we’ll take the short drive to our hotel for check-in.
Day 2 A fantastic day awaits as we begin with a nostalgic journey aboard the Isle of Man Steam Railway. This scenic ride takes us along the picturesque South Coast from Douglas to Port Erin. After some time to explore we proceed to The Sound, at the southern tip of the island, where the visitor centre offers a stunning 180-degree view of the Calf of Man. Our journey continues to Castletown, one of the oldest towns in the British Isles, where you can wander through the charming fishing cottages and explore the imposing medieval Castle Rushen.
Day 3 Today is yours to explore Douglas at your own pace. Consider taking a nostalgic ride on the horse-drawn tram along the promenade, where you can admire the beautifully restored 19th century buildings. Enjoy browsing independent Boutiques and High Street shops, or simply relax.
Day 4 Get ready for a day packed with excitement! We start with a visit to the iconic ‘Lady Isobella’ the Great Laxey Wheel, the world’s largest working waterwheel. After some leisure time in the quaint village of Laxey, we will board the Snaefell Mountain Railway, the only electric mountain railway in the British Isles, delighting passengers since 1895. This scenic journey takes us up to Snaefell Mountain, the highest peak on the island at 2,036 feet. At the summit, you’ll have 30-minutes to take in the breathtaking views before we descend back to Laxey. The adventure continues with a ride on the Manx Electric Railway to Ramsey, renowned as the longest narrow gauge vintage electric system in the British Isles.
Day 5 It’s time to bid adieu to the Isle of Man. After an early breakfast, we’ll catch the 08.45am ferry from Douglas back to England. Homeward journey with comfort stops plus visit Trentham Garden,

Day 1 Where better to enjoy a weekend break than the English Riviera at the charming resort of Babbacombe. Day 2 Today we venture to the Regency charms of Sidmouth, a quaint resort nestled beneath majestic red cliffs and lush hills of the glorious Sid Valley. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary, home to over 500 rescued donkeys and mules. The Sanctuary offers something for everyone, from farm trails, mazes to nature centres, and of course the opportunity to interact with these gentle creatures.
Day 3 This morning’s excursion take us to Exmouth, where you’ll experience the tranquillity of a circular cruise on the stunning River Exe. Admire the scenic beauty, wildlife, and nature of the renowned Exe Estuary. Afterwards, there will be free time to explore the vibrant town of Exmouth, one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon.
Day 4 Enjoy a hearty breakfast before free time in the Exeter, a city rich in history and culture. Here you can discover the magnificent cathedral, walk along the imposing Roman wall, or enjoy the picturesque quayside. Then we will begin our journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of our time on the English Riviera.

Day 4 Our excursion today takes us along a section of the magnificent Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site stretching 95 miles along the coast. Highlights include passing the dramatic Chesil Beach, visiting West Bay, (famous as the filming location for the popular TV show, Broadchurch), and exploring Lyme Bay, nestled in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Day 5 Before we head home, we will stop in Dorchester, renowned as the birthplace of author and poet, Thomas Hardy. Explore the town’s rich history which includes fascinating museums, Iron Age hill forts and boutique shops. Day 2 Spend a leisurely day discovering the charming seaside town of Shanklin, nestled on the island’s southeast coast. Enjoy a classic beach day on the long, wide sandy shores, or take a stroll through Shanklin Chine, a picturesque wooded ravine. Explore the Old Village with its unique independent shops, restaurants, and pubs, offering a quintessentially English seaside experience. Day 3 Today, we take a scenic tour of the Isle of Wight, showcasing the island’s most iconic sights. Day 4 Prepare for an exciting day as we visit Osborne House, the palatial seaside home once beloved by Queen Victoria. Day 4 Today is yours to discover Scarborough at your own pace. Wander through the tranquil South Cliff Gardens or explore the dramatic ruins of Scarborough Castle for a glimpse into the town’s storied past. Enjoy the bustling seafront, complete with amusement arcades, shellfish stalls, and delightful ice cream parlours. Day 1 We set off towards the historic city of Salisbury. Here you’ll have time to explore the city’s rich heritage, including its stunning cathedral. After soaking in the sights, we’ll continue our journey to the hotel, arriving in the late afternoon so you can relax and freshen up for dinner.
Day 2 Today we embark on a scenic journey along the iconic Jurassic Coast, our first stop is West Bay, famously known as the filming location for the TV Series Broadchurch. Enjoy the dramatic cliffs and stunning coastline before we head to Bridport, a historic town celebrated for its vibrant community, rich cultural scene, independent shops and delightful eateries.

Day 3 Enjoy a leisurely day in Weymouth, a top seaside destination offering more than just a beautiful seafront. Relax on the Blue Flag winning beach, recognised as one of Europe’s finest. Stroll along the esplanade, explore charming independent retailers and indulge in a variety of dining options, from fresh seafood to traditional pubs. Maybe take one of the many boat trips available from here.
Day 4 This morning we visit Wareham, one of the few remaining Saxonwalled towns in England. After exploring its rich history, we continue to Swanage, known for its Blue Flag beach and recently restored Victorian pier. To round off the day, we step back in time with a scenic train ride on the historic Swanage Railway, relaxing as the train takes you through the beautiful Purbeck countryside.
Day 5 After breakfast, we make a final stop in Poole, famous for its awardwinning beaches and historic old town. Enjoy a stroll around the quayside, taking in the views of Europe’s largest Natural Harbour or a visit to the Poole pottery shop. We then head home, filled with memories of a wonderful trip, with comfort stops enroute.

Day 1 We begin our journey north, taking in the picturesque landscapes of Wales as we travel. Arriving at the charming Somerset Hotel in the late afternoon, where you’ll experience a warm Welsh welcome with the traditional greeting of “Croeso i Gymru” (Welcome to Wales)
Day 2 Today we travel through the stunning Vale of Conwy to the popular inland resort of Bets-y-Coed, a quaint village where three rivers converge in a beautiful setting. Continuing through the majestic Snowdonia National Park, we reach Llanberis, a vibrant hub nestled at the foot of Snowdon. Here, we’ll enjoy a delightful ride along the lake shore on the Llanberis Lake Railway, taking in the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
Day 3 Enjoy a leisure day in the enchanting Victorian Seaside resort of Llandudno. Take a stroll along the Promenade, admire the superb views from the historic Victorian pier - the longest in Wales. Alternatively, maybe take a ride on the Great Orme Tramway, Britain’s only funicular tramway which has been delighting visitors since 1902.
Day 4 After a hearty breakfast, we venture into the serene countryside to the Roman City of Chester. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this city, with its unique ‘Rows’ of two-tiered timber-framed shops and the historic City Walls, parts of which are almost 2,000 years old. Meander down to the River Dee, where you can savour a riverside lunch or embark on a relaxing city cruise.
Day 5 Our holiday concludes with a visit to the bustling market town of Shrewsbury, renowned as the birthplace of the esteemed naturalist Charles Darwin before we head home with comfort stops enroute.

Day 4 We start with a visit to the delightful seaside town of Ryde. After a leisurely lunch, step back in time with a nostalgic journey on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Relax in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages as the train meanders through the stunning countryside.
Day 5 After breakfast, it’s time to bid a fond farewell to the Isle of Wight. We’ll start our journey home, with stops along the route, cherishing the wonderful memories of our island adventure.

Day 1 We head towards the picturesque village of Lavenham, one of the country’s best-preserved medieval villages. Enjoy time to explore this charming village with its half-timbered houses and historic charm. After a leisurely visit, we continue to our hotel, aiming to arrive late afternoon so you can check in and relax before dinner.
Day 2 Today, we explore the twin villages of Wroxham and Hoveton, known as the Capital of the Broads’. Spend time browsing the shops, particularly the famous Roys of Wroxham. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a leisurely cruise aboard the Southern Comfort, a Mississippi Paddle Steamer specially built for the Norfolk Broads. Enjoy the stunning scenery and excellent commentary from the upper deck or relax on the lower deck where you can purchase snacks, souvenirs, and freshly made tea and coffee.
Day 3 Spend the day relaxing in the charming seaside town of Cromer at your own pace. This small resort is full of character, with narrow twisting streets in the town centre with a lively seafront promenade and a sandy beach. You might want to visit Cromer Pier, home to a lifeboat station and the famous Pavilion theatre.
Day 4 Today, we take a royal visit to Sandringham House, the much-loved country retreat of the late Queen Elizabeth II. This magnificent stately house is set in stunning landscaped gardens and remains very much as it was in Edwardian times. The estate is vast, covering around 20,000 acres.
Day 5 After breakfast, we check out and begin our journey home. On the way we will visit the historic city of Norwich. It’s the perfect place for a stroll along medieval cobbled streets, visiting art galleries and museums, and with fabulous food, along with plenty of shopping opportunities.

Day 2 Our day begins with an exciting excursion through the Mendip Hills to Shepton Mallet Prison, a site steeped in history. Once Britain’s oldest working prison, it housed some of the country’s most notorious inmates, including the infamous Kray Twins. Decommissioned in 2013, it has since been transformed into the Southwest’s most intriguing and chilling tourist attractions. We continue to historic Wells, England’s smallest city. Here you can marvel at the stunning Wells Cathedral and stroll along Vicar's Close, the oldest medieval residential street in Europe.
Day 3 Today we embark on a nostalgic journey aboard the West Somerset Railway, England’s longest heritage railway. This picturesque twenty-mile trip takes us from Bishops Lydeard through the beautiful Quantock Hills to the charming seaside resort of Minehead. On arrival you’ll have free time to explore the town, perhaps strolling along the promenade or visiting local shops and cafes before we return to our hotel for dinner.
Day 4 We begin our day with a visit to the legendry town of Glastonbury. Perhaps explore the atmospheric ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, once the wealthiest abbey in England and the controversial burial place of King Arthur. Take time to wander around the quirky shops filled with unique and mystical items. In the afternoon, we head to Street, home of Clarks Village, the UK’s first outlet shopping centre, offering a range of top brands.
Day 5 After breakfast, we bid farewell to Weston Super Mare and make our way to Bristol, one of Britain’s oldest ports. Bristol is a treasure trove of historic interest, where you’ll have time to explore its rich heritage. After some time to explore, we continue our journey home, with comfort stops en route, reflecting on the wonderful memories made during our tour.

Day 1 After boarding our journey commences, with a brief stop for refreshment before heading to Bristol. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the UK’s top Christmas markets, located in the heart of the city centre. Immerse yourself in a magical winter atmosphere as you browse over 35 charming chalets-style stalls offering a variety of unique gift ideas. Following this, we proceed to our hotel for check-in and some downtime before dinner is served.
Day 2 Following breakfast, we will venture to Longleat Estate*. Experience an exhilarating drive through the safari park, where you can get up close to the majestic lions, tigers & rhinos (excluding monkey enclosure). The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy the estate’s attractions, including the captivating Festival of Lights. Alternatively, explore Brighton’s renowned attractions like the Pier and the Royal Pavilion.
Day 3 (Boxing Day) Enjoy a free day to discover the offerings of Eastbourne. Visit the Beacon Shopping centre or take a leisurely stroll along the promenade to blow away the cobwebs, before returning to the hotel.
Day 4 Sadly, after a leisurely breakfast it is time to bid farewell to Eastbourne and make our way home with a stop in Guildford on the way.

Day 1 Our journey begins with a visit to the vibrant coastal town of Bournemouth and comfort stops along the way. Enjoy some free time to explore the charming shops or take a stroll along the pier before we proceed to our hotel in Weymouth, where you can settle in before dinner.
Day 2 After a hearty breakfast, we will venture to the historical town of Dorchester, renowned for its rich history dating back to the Iron-Age and its association with the famous author Thomas Hardy. Day 4 Our excursion today takes us to Poole, a bustling coastal town known for its award-winning beaches and Europe’s largest natural harbour. Enjoy free time to explore the Dolphin Shopping Centre, take a leisurely walk along the quay, or visit the famous Poole pottery shop.
Day 5 Before heading home, we’ll stop in Salisbury, famed for its medieval cathedral, home to one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta. Take time to explore the Old City centre, with its cobbled street, unique shops, and historic pubs including the Haunch of Venison Pub, one of the oldest and most haunted pubs in Salisbury. Afterwards, we will embark on our journey back home arriving back late afternoon with comfort stops.
