Can a low loonie protect against falling commodity prices?

I’m expecting slightly lower agriculture prices in 2016 with global commodity supplies either growing or already oversupplied. This has, not surprisingly, lead to concerns about profitability voiced by many attending the 2016 FCC Ag Outlook tour.

I’ve said before that one of the most important economic drivers of Canadian agriculture this year will be the potential squeeze in profits facing producers.

Last week’s USDA agriculture projections to 2025 validated the projection of softer commodity prices in 2016. Despite a potential price decrease this year, Canada’s producers will remain profitable, at least in part thanks to the loonie. It’ll provide support, albeit to varying degrees, across all sectors: The livestock sector’s profit trends will be steady or decline slightly from their record highs Profit trends in the grains and oilseeds sector will vary by commodity Cattle profits will tighten but remain high Expect tighter margins for cattle in 2016 - while remembering the sector’s recent years of record profitability. Futures markets suggest feedlot profitability will be challenged in the first half of the year, but will improve as the ratio of feeder-to-fed cattle comes down closer to its historical average. I expect cow-calf operations to remain profitable in 2016, although less

so than last year. The dollar will help here.

Hogs to show profits in 2016 Profits in the hog sector should also be positive, especially for operations benefitting from economies of scale or managing operating expenses below the industry average. The recent repeal of COOL and the low loonie will bode well for Canada’s exports to the U.S., also helping lessen the impact of the 2015 U.S. herd expansion.

Profits in canola, wheat, corn and soybeans will differ Three months ago, grains and oilseeds weren’t looking as good as they are now. Canola, for one, has bounced back due to the positive impact of the dollar.

Exports have been strong and tighter stocks have supported prices. Available supply of wheat in the global marketplace is strong, and as such price expectations will be lower in 2016 than in 2015. This should bring margins lower than their historical average.

Conversely, profit margins for corn and soybeans are expected to be lower than their 5-year average. Large global stocks of both commodities and softer corn demand for biofuel production as oil prices continue to flounder will keep U.S. prices lower than their 5-year average. The low Canadian dollar will keep basis levels strong and protect Canadian prices from falling to a level where profits turn negative.

Manage costs to maintain profits As a strong believer in future markets, I’m going to stick with the message I delivered at the 2016 FCC Ag Outlook tour and my projection of “steady” or “slightly declining” profit margins in 2016. The depressed value of the loonie protects profit margins even if it does raise the price of some farm inputs.

Farm management skills remain essential to a successful operation.

Successful farmers in Canada use seven business management practices that set them apart, according to a new study released today conducted jointly between Agri-food Management Institute (AMI) and Farm Management Canada (FMC). The ‘Dollars and Sense’ report listed the top seven practices that drive farm financial success: Never stop learning Make business decisions using accurate financial data Seek the help of business advisors/ consultants Have a written business plan, follow it, and review it annually Know and monitor your cost of production and what it means for your profits Assess risks and have a plan to manage and mitigate risk Use a budget and financial plan to monitor financial position and options The report was presented to farmers, agricultural industry organizations, farm business advisors, accountants, economic development groups and others for their feedback on how to better engage the industry when it comes to farm business management.

“The research says that no matter how big or small your operation is, what you produce or where you farm in Canada, investing in farm business management will drive your success,” says FMC executive director, Heather Watson. “For years, industry has been hearing this, and now, we finally have the concrete

data to back it.”

Ipsos Agriculture and Animal Health’s included over 600 farmers in the research. The study represents a crosssection of grain and oilseed, dairy, beef, hog, poultry and egg and horticultural producers from across the country.

Ipsos invited participants from their database of more than 100,000 farm businesses.

“This study shows that paying close attention to the business side of their operations is critical to making a good living for farmers,” says AMI’s executive director, Alison Robertson. “And they don’t have to do it alone - we have many resources to help farmers help themselves to greater success.”

Hard copies of the report were distributed at the launch and it is now available on the FMC and AMI websites.

The ‘Dollars and Sense’ study grew out of research completed by both organizations. AMI previously published a baseline study that provided insights into farm business management activities, behaviours and attitudes in Ontario farmers. FMC produced a report on how to meet the business management needs of Canadian farmers using insights into domestic and international best practices.

Both organizations provide programs, workshops and other resources to help farmers make the best management decisions for their business.

Marketing freedom with higher yield.

Grains are mostly higher this morning as the complex looks to build on its day yesterday in the green, with a lot of eyes on the wheat market and weather situations in places like the Southern Plains to Western Canada to the Black Sea. With the size of the short position that managed money is holding on the futures board, there continues to be the kindling for a potential spark for more moves to the upside. Also, we need to reign in our optimism for a massive move in the short-term but a few more days like yesterday definitely couldn’t hurt.

On that note, I’ll have to agree with Dan Hueber when he says that after the past 4 years or so of supply building up in certain crops (and commodities in general) and demand being relatively flat, we are possibly starting to see a switch on the supply side of the boat to lower levels, which intuitively encourages higher values. This doesn’t mean drastic reduction in output but it’s enough to draw through more of the current supply gluttony.

With this in mind, the UN is estimating that world wheat production will pull back a bit in 2016/17 compared to this crop year, with the FAO forecasting 723M tonnes of the cereal to be taken off, slightly down from last year’s 733M tonnes. More headlines are coming out in regards to the dryness situation in Morocco as farmers there have been hit by El Nino temperatures that, in turn, are putting their production at close to half its average potential! With only 3.72M tonnes coming off, it’s the lowest output in 4 years and a 54% drop from last year’s record crop. Given that Morocco is forecasted to import around 3M tonnes this year, it’s another bullish story in the wheat game that could fall in line with a higher price move (in line with the thinking of more firms, including ABN Ambro who believes that prices have bottomed out, as indicated by the sideways / range-bound action we’ve been experience the past few weeks/months.

Speaking of wheat imports, India bought its first load of the year, picking up 60,000 MT of Aussie wheat for a delivered price of $230 USD / MT. The USDA’s New Delhi attaché says that India will import 1M tonnes of wheat in 2016/17, double the 500,000 MT they’re expected to import this year (2015/16). Why the big upgrade? The Indian government is trying to say that their wheat crop will hit 93.8M tonnes (47.4 bu/ac average yield) whereas the other estimates from the private trade and the USDA peg things anywhere from 82-89M tonnes. While India isn’t afraid to import wheat, they have a fair amount of grain in storage, but a lot of it is wasted and/or cannot meet milling requirements. At least, they don’t have a variable attitude towards ergot like Egypt does!

One place that both India and Egypt are looking to more for their wheat needs can be Russia, as the nation is continuing to try & build up its agricultural industry.

International grains broker Vicorus says that Russia has the potential to more than double their current outputof around 60M tonnes of wheat per year if they were able to match average yields from their European counterparts.

Russia’s average wheat yield is only about 36 bu/ac, whereas normal yields in Ukraine are closer to 60 bu/ac, and across the E.U., it’s closer to 90! Where yields also aren’t impressive enough is in Brazil where farmers are switching out wheat this year for 2nd crop safrinha corn as the profitability is hard to ignore. While domestic corn prices equate to $5.00 USD/bushel, in Brazilian Real terms that’s close to R$19/bushel, which is a 22% increase thus far in the 2016 calendar year and 53% from this time a year ago! Simply put, at this exact moment, it’s hard to ignore the dollars and cents that are available in crops other than wheat in 2016/17 and farmers around the world are recognizing that.

Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a fungal disease of cereal crops that affects kernel development. Outbreaks can cause significant losses in grain yield and grain quality, while also resulting in the production of mycotoxin-Deoxynyvalenol that affect livestock feed, the baking and milling quality of wheat and the malting and brewing qualities of malt barley.

Bill Chapman, crop business development specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, says though its rate of infection in Alberta is low, maintaining vigilance is key to keep it from spreading and ultimately devastating crops.

“It’s important that we continue to be vigilant to try and keep Fusarium off the farm and continue to conduct seed testing as that’s what kept Alberta in the situation it’s currently in – Fusarium has spread slightly around the province and it’s still in low numbers but that doesn’t mean that we stop doing things like the DNA test to make sure we don’t have it in the seed that’s being used,” he says adding that he DNA test is yes or no result and if it is positive another test is done to determine the percentage of the disease in the seed.

According to Chapman, seed treating is one of the most effective tools to manage FHB. “It’s really important

to maintain seed treatments at recommended rates as well as using the new systemic seed treatments that though are a little more expensive, can stop a potentially devastating outbreak on the farm,” he says.

Chapman recommends speaking directly with your local seed plant manager or input supplier to find out what treatments they have available making sure it’s a product that will go into the seed and control the surface level of FHB on the seed.

There’s a lot of optimism as some newer varieties have been showing new percentage gains and or up to moderately resistant new varieties that will be out in two or three years for crops like wheat and barley. Also, some of the new varieties that do have this moderate level of resistance also have lower levels deoxynivalenol (DON) which is the growth inhibitor in things like monogastric animals such as chickens and hogs.

“The bottom line is we have to maintain vigilance against it, it’s still under the Pest Act that seed in Alberta must be free from Fusarium head blight. It’s important to keep that in the back of your mind because we don’t want to see the economic loses we’ve seen in other provinces from it,” Chapman says.

Miniature horses and donkeys commonly populate the pastures of the Peace River Region. Often, one driving by will see several standard size horses throughout a field, and then a mini or two in amongst the crew.

Though they seem to be just miniatures of their larger counterparts; unfortunately, in regards to their health, there are a few differences. Unfortunately, these differences often end up resulting in life-threatening conditions.

As veterinarians going out to do routine dentals or exams on standard size equines, we often see the mini versions in the pen or the field but more rarely do we work on them as well.

This is unfortunate, as usually the minis are in more need of care than the horses or standard size donkeys.

1.

Miniature horses have bad teeth. If you have one with perfect teeth, this would nearly be a miracle.

Something like a boxer without an underbite! We’ll often see prominent hooks already at the time of castrations. This is often when minis are only a year or so old. Their counterparts will more likely be 6 or 7 years old when such a change would be observable (if even present by then). The problem that minis have

is that there teeth are more crowded into their heads, so more prone to abnormal wear and thus growth.

Ideally, most minis should have dental care starting at a year of age and every year thereafter. More often than not, we go to a farm to perform dental work on performance horses, but often do not take a look at the mini companions who are there also.

2.

Weight. Miniature horses and donkeys, with their mini bodies, are rarely seen with equally mini waistlines. This is extremely detrimental to their health, in particular their hoof health. However, they will also struggle with arthritis in later years, as well as develop more metabolic issues. Miniature horses really cannot handle free range grazing. Even just one hour during the day is too much for most minis. This can results in a laminitic event (founder). If they are already foundered, then they become even more sensitive and prone to more laminitic events and worsening founder in the future. Hand feeding grass (NOT alfalfa) hay to minis is best. This grass hay may also have to be soaked for 30 minutes prior to feeding to remove some of the sugars. Grazing muzzles are also sometimes wonderful solutions, although there are more than a few Houdini’s among the mini population on whom a grazing muzzle would last about 1 minute.

A benefit of grass versus hay is that it does not promote heaves as hay often does. This is an allergic reaction of the respiratory system in response to the

mold and dusts in hay. If minis cannot eat grass, it may become more crucial to carefully watch that the hay they eat is especially mold free, and to know that it may need to be soaked for half an hour or so before feeding to thoroughly soak through/into the stems.

3.

Hoof Care. Once again, minis are more commonly seen with the typical ‘slipper appearing’ hoof. This is an overgrown heel with a curled up toe: founder. Poor hoof care leads to this situation becoming much worse, and it is difficult to get it back under control. The foot will have a permanent tendency for heel overgrowth and recurring laminitic episodes, as mentioned above. Being overweight doesn’t help minis with this situation either. Imagine oneself having to carry around an extra hundred pounds of weight everywhere with sore feet on top of it. It will lead to compensation elsewhere, and buildup of arthritis, resulting in more compensation elsewhere, and the negative cycle continues. Same thing with minis.

Please consider these differences when making the decision to purchase or raise minis. Though they are small (and mighty!), they often require twice as much care as their larger counterparts. We could probably continue on with another article on the ‘mightiness of minis’, seeing as they seem to train their humans on many occasions, perhaps another article for another day.

Everyone from industry leaders to individual producers has an important role to play, to strengthen our industry and drive it forward. That’s what this conference is all about.”

CBIC is a joint collaboration of the Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC), Canada Beef, the Canadian Beef Breeds Council (CBBC) and the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA). It will combine semi-annual and annual meetings of several stakeholder groups, along with learning and networking opportunities.

“We encourage everyone from across the various regions and industry sectors to participate — to learn, share ideas and help grow our industry,” says beef producer Virgil Lowe, co-chair of the 2016 CBIC and also an Associate with Dentons Canada LLP. Opening day keynote speaker is entrepreneur, consultant and former Dragon’s Den star Arlene Dickinson. The agenda will also include keynote speakers on each of the National Beef Strategy’s four pillars: connectivity, productivity, beef demand and competitiveness, along with educational presentations and interactive workshops on new developments, market and brand opportunities and production innovations. Related events include BCRC, Canada Beef, and Young Cattlemen’s Council board meetings, including Cattlemen’s Young Leaders selections and graduation.

Early bird registration rates are available until June 15 ($375 early bird, $450 after) and conference special hotel rates are available until July 25 (or sold out).

Full registration includes opening night (Tuesday) reception; also Wednesday night banquet and entertainment, featuring the band Ain’t No Rodeo. • Condition scoring is more accurate than “eyeballing.”

Keep records of condition scores.

• Cows should be scored in the fall, at calving and 30 days before the start of the breeding season.

• If condition scoring the cow herd at calving and before the start of the breeding season is not feasible, a producer could use an alternative twice per year strategy: once in the fall and once after calving (30 to 45 days before the start of the breeding season).

• Although condition scoring the cow herd between calving and the start of the breeding season may be inconvenient, breeding problems caused by inadequate nutrition are most likely to be detected during this critical time.

• A record can be kept of an individual animal’s condition score. Alternatively, a representative group of cows from very large herds can be scored to give an estimation of average herd condition score.

Pricing meat products is different than pricing most other products you might see for example at a farmers market. Kathy Bosse, a new venture specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry says there’s a new fact sheet, Pricing Meat Products: An Introduction to help you get through the process.

“When you’re trying to determine the pricing for your meat products, you need to know all your costs and then you need understand how to cut meat to get the best returns while giving your customers what they want,” she says.

She says that especially with larger animals, one needs to know where to get the best yields (useful part of the meat) from those animals. “You want to be sure that you have an animal that is going to yield you a lot of very useable meat,” Bosse says the fact sheet will also help determine break even points and setting prices to determine costs of production which is important because in larger animals there are both primary and secondary cuts.

“Everyone knows and wants those primary cuts, but they are a very small percentage of the animal. It will help you determine what you need to sell your product for per pound to just break even.”

The fact sheet will provide users with options for maximizing their return by giving suggestions on different types of cuts and products to sell and what consumers are looking for.

An upcoming seminar will be addressing some keys to grazing management, especially in dry years. Sean McGrath, rancher and consultant southeast of Vermilion, says that is just one of the topics being discussed at this Thursday’s Beef Information Seminar: Planning for 2016 seminar.

“It’s about providing producers with tools to look at different ways to manage grass including pasture productivity and recovery, pasture monitoring, and strategies to manage drought situations,” he says.

McGrath says one of the key things producers should keep in mind during dry conditions is preparation. “It’s extremely important to prepare for those dry conditions when it starts raining, making sure that you’re managing ahead of time so you’ve got that forage resource available when and if the taps turn off,” he says.

Other topics like trigger dates, dates where a cer-

tain amount of rainfall event or plant growth hasn’t reached a certain stage, give producers an idea if they should start trimming their herd are on the agenda.

Other strategies being discussed will be on different feed sources and different ways and places to graze that might not be a regular consideration.

He says going through season’s like the last one only help in be better prepared for any future similar occurrences.

“We can’t forget about that when it’s raining. In a regular year, when you combine a feed test with a bit of creativity, a producer can reduce their feeding costs. In a year of dry conditions it can save your business,” he says.

Blueberry Mountain Introduction It is rumored that the short road to Spirit River via Ksituan will soon be open for traffic.

Mr. Clowes of Calgary has been visiting his daughter Mrs. W. Collins, and is taking Elsie Collins home with him so that she may be able to attend the high school in that city.

Marjorie Mitchell, who is a nurse in training at Lethbridge Hospital, has been spending her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mitchell.

Mrs. W. J. McCormick had a thrill in listening to her oldest son speaking over the radio from London, England. From other sources we hear that Eddie spent a seven-day leave with the parents of our neighbor, Jack Richards. It is sure pleasant to have our boys entertained in British homes, and I am convinced that Eddie will never forget Bedwas, Wales.

AGRI-NEWS MARCH, 2016 It’s called the Commercial Kitchen Business Tool Kit and Kathy Bosse, new venture specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF) says this it’s a useful resource for expanding business opportunities for already established kitchens as well as food processors who need a place to make their product.

“Many food processors are looking for a commercial kitchen to make their products and that’s by regulation, they need to be in a licensed commercial kitchen. In many of our communities there are halls, ag societies and such that have kitchens in them already that could potentially be used as commercial kitchens,” she says.

Bosse says there are a number of fact sheets contained in the tool kit that provide information on everything one would need to know about operating or renting out a commercial kitchen.

“The fact sheets cover the opportunities for setting up a commercial kitchen, logistics of setting up a kitchen, managing risks, and marketing the kitchen to potential users,” Bosse says.

Although AF provides this information, the actual permitting of the kitchens is issued by Alberta Health.

I was born in Emerson, Manitoba in 1925 and was nine months old when Mom and Dad (Nick and Sophie Badiuk) moved from Emerson, Manitoba to Rycroft in 1926 where dad worked for Fred Sandul in Rycroft and Fairview.

Later we moved to Ksituan, a few miles from Sopkows, where we had a general store which burned down in 1932. Ksituan was where I started school, and after we moved to Blueberry Mountain I attended school there, then finished High School in Spirit River. Dad had a store at Blueberry Mountain, located where Bird’s store was till 1979, and he was also the blacksmith.

My brother Jack (proper name John) was born in Rycroft in 1929 and started his school at Blueberry in 1936. He now resides in Orizaba, Vera Cruz, Mexico, and works as an engineer for Kimberly Clark Ltd., (who make the Kleenex products). He is married and has three girls and one boy.

Our neighbors in Blueberry, Dan and Maggie Gal-

braith, were like parents to Jack and I, and made the best ice cream!!

We in turn had to take the cows to their place from the pasture across the road from the store.

I recall the dances, picnics, etc., at the old Blueberry School and at Whitburn. Lots of great times were had, even in winter travelling by sleighs that were covered over and had a small heater; singing songs and telling stories. The momas and the papas and all the kids would go. No one could play the violin like Tommy Lindsay, and no one could call a square dance like Bill Lindsay.

We moved to Spirit River from Blueberry, and dad had a store where Temoway’s Super A now stands. We left Spirit in 1946 and moved first to Hardisty, then Ponoka, then Lacombe, Bruderheim, then dad had a theatre in Vancouver, and from there we moved to Edmonton.

I married Rupert Mieske in Edmonton, and we had a son and daughter, who are both married now and we have two grandchildren. Rupert died in 1977.

I now have a Flower Shop here in Wetaskiwin.

Dad (Nick Badiuk) passed away in 1975, and Mom is at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Stony Plain, Alberta.

Yellowknife and the road To The Midnight Sun It is not a secret in the riding community that I love to ride. I am happiest on my bike and my favourite saying about riding is “A bad day of riding still beats a good day at work!”

There are several rides that I can take from where I live in Grande Prairie, rides that are spectacular. Depending on my mood and available time, I can go for an hour brain clearer or a full on 14-15 hour ride to one of my favourite places in Canada, Yellowknife NT. (Truth be told, I have a ton of favourite places in Canada.)

It’s a challenging ride that can prove mesmerizing at times; Grande Prairie to Yellowknife.

1,212 Kilometers of ride that clears the mind, soothes the soul and challenges your metal.

You can take two days to get there or one; it depends totally on the weather and on you. I enjoy doing the ride both ways, but I love to take two days to get there if I have travelling companions.

One of the many beauties of riding in the north is the sun.

In the summer, dusk doesn’t really take place around Grande Prairie until 10 pm and the farther north you go, well the later it starts. In places like Yellowknife NT and Dawson City YT, dusk starts at about 12:30 - 1 am and sunrise starts at about 3 am. Yes, they get around 20 hours of sun with no real night at all!

If you have never ridden in the north, you are truly missing out on some incredible sights and I hope this short article helps motivates you to giving it a try!

The Midnight Sun, Show ‘n’ Shine & Run hosted by the NWT Riders Association is a must do event for any rider. It happens every year for the summer solstice, and my birthday generally falls on one of the days that I am on the road for this adventure.

Number two, the minute you stop, do not dally on your bike, get off and walk away as fast as you can so the hornets & wasps that will swarm, will eat the bug guts off your bike and not eat your hide.

Once you get away from the smell of warm fuel and engine, the bugs become much less as they will stay behind to swarm your bike for a while!

Your next stop puts you that the 60th Parallel sign and visitor center about 50 K away.

Once you’ve stopped at the visitor center to get your obligatory 60th Parallel photo, you’ll want to stop at the waterfalls: there are two, Louise and Alexandra, very close by in Twin Falls Park. Both sets of falls are magnificent and I encourage you to go for a wander.

The next fuel stop is Lisa’s Place in Enterprise about 85 Km’s away. This is another of those gas and go type of stops…unless of course you are taking two days to get to Yellowknife and you want to ride into Hay River (edited). (Worth doing if you have the time!) The next place to eat and fuel up is in Fort Providence, 140 K away.

From Fort Providence to Chan Lake Park about 87 K up the road; the Buffalo rule the road! Be very careful when Bison (Buffalo) are on or near the roadways.

These sleepy looking giants can turn on a dime and they are fast!

The average Bison weighs in at about 2,000 lbs. and can charge at you with a speed of 30 Km’s per hour.

From Fort Providence into Yellowknife is 305 Km’s. There is fuel available in a small community called Bechoko/Fort Rea, about 9-10 K off the main highway.

They serve pretty good food there too.

The highway becomes very interesting to ride as the frost heaves become like the rolling swells of the sea. The landscape changes too, as trees become fewer, shorter and great big boulders take their place.

The city of Yellowknife is much like any other city with regards to the amenities they offer, but that is where the similarities end.

There is much to do and much to take in and if you are a rider, the Northwest Territory Riders Association’s Midnight Sun, Car & Motorcycle Show ‘n’ Shine & Run is a must do.

Nothing in this world can compare with riding under the Midnight Sun with 50 – 100 other riders. There are no words to adequately describe how magnificent the scenery becomes when riding under the Midnight Sun. Belt Drive Betty, Editor & Rider

is nice this time of day. (If am splitting it up into two days, I don’t need to leave until about noon.)

I ride from Grande Prairie to Fairview, about 115 Km’s, and that’s generally where I’ll have breakfast or lunch.

The Dunvegan Inn & Suites is a Rider Friendly hotel that you have to try out! The food is always wonderful, the service is always pleasant and the rooms, should you need one, are always clean, well appointed with lots of hot water.

After a good scarf, I head for Grimshaw, about 60 K up the road. I generally fuel up here.

One rule for riding in the North: NEVER, EVER ride past a fuel station. A station that used to carry fuel last year might not have fuel this year. You can’t take the chance unless you want to snuggle up to a buffalo in a ditch somewhere as your place to sleep for the night!

I recommend carrying 2, one-gallon Reda 1 saddlebag gas cans.

They can make all of the difference in the world!

After a quick coffee and pee break at Sammy’s and topping up with fuel at the Shell station, I head toward Manning.

By this time I can usually take off the heated gear, but not always. The wind up in this part of the country can challenge you in more ways than one.

I generally top up at the Esso in Manning, I’ve only ridden about 90 K, but as I mentioned before, YOU NEVER, EVER ride past a fuel station. On my way home, I ALWAYS stop for Chinese Food at Sings Restaurant.

Next stop is Keg River; about 65-70 K from Manning – there is a gas and convenience store on the left.

The next major stop is High Level and it offers lots of hotels, fuel and meal choices.

I like the Flamingo Inn, they are very rider friendly, and their rooms are clean and decently priced. (From Keg River to High Level is about 110 K.) The road can be deceiving, and game can step out almost any time, so please don’t let the relative straightness of the 180 Km stretch between High Level and Indian Cabins lull you into complacency.

Indian Cabins is a small trading post with some great coffee but only regular fuel is available here. Regular fuel is almost all you will get from here to Yellowknife, so I like to carry Amsoil Octane Boost with me!

It’s also starting in around here that the bugs can become very…. interesting, yes that’s a good word. When you go to stop, especially if it is hot out, I recommend you do two things, number one, ensure you have
