Approval of Minutes of last meeting Minutes approved – JD & FL

Action Points and Matters Arising •
RF reports that the club's remaining stocks of t-shirts are 1 small male, 2 large males and 1 small female ◦

RF will order a new batch of t shirts
•
The possibility of a new design was discussed ◦

The club stocks of hoodies are 2 small, 2 medium, 1 large and 1 extra-large
RF will investigate a different colour for the new batch as well as the possibility of producing technical t-shirts
Indoor meets •
StB has been in touch with AW about the arrangement with Hadrian Leisure, and AW has responded to StB ◦
The price to use Hadrian Leisure is £6.20 per head, this is non-negotiable
◦
AW is seeking a volunteer to be the liason for Hadrian Leisure, ideally someone who attends Hadrian Leisure frequently
◦
Hadrian Leisure is booked for the coming season – the current arrangement with a monthly trip to another wall is to continue
◦
The meets away from Hadrian Leisure and special events at Hadrian Leisure are to be promoted through Facebook, the regular Hadrian Leisure meets are not.
◦
FL is organising a self-rescue practice session to take place at Hadrian Leisure

Winter Meets •
All huts for winter meets are booked
•
IB will contact ED to organise promotion of the meets and recruitment of meet leaders
•
CH has volunteered to create Facebook events for winter meets
•
CH will be investigating the feasibility of organising a winter skills meet with help from ED and JS
•
CH will be organising a ceilidh for the Christmas social
Spring Meets •
AW will be organising the new members' meet
•
JMcC will run an early Peak meet

IB has not heard from Alphabetti Theatre about hosting Andy Turner's talk ◦
IB will make one more attempt to get in contact, but expects the talk will have to be held at Burnside
◦
AW will be point of contact
StB has organised a talk from Mark Savage and Dan Varian in January
Correspondence •
The only consequence of the BMC name change was a reference to insurance that has already been reverted
•
AW advises that he has had a two month hiatus in dealing with membership matters and will be working through his backlog over the next couple of weeks
•
AW has been contacted by a sailing club in Sunderland asking for retired ropes
•
There is a potential access issue for night climbing following a high profile rustling incident near Belford
