Action Points and Matters Arising •
StB reported that JD intends to revisit the development of northumberlandclimbing.co.uk ◦

Further discussion of the future development of northumberlandclimbing.co.uk is to take place when both JD and IB are present
•
A new guide for High Crag is ready, a couple of other Stell size guides are in progress
•
Gavin Ellis has offered to assist in developing guides for a number of venues and StB is pursuing this
Membership •
AW has circulated the latest stats, membership continues to increase
•
AW will be triggering an auto-conversion process for prospective members whose membership is due to expire shortly
•
AW proposes that the production of the members' handbook be started promptly, so the handbook can be distributed at the end of February along with the membership cards. ◦
Further discussion of handbook production is to be added to the agenda for next meeting
◦
SnB has volunteered to lead development of the handbook with support from Pete Flegg
•
AW will be ordering a batch of membership cards with blank dates to be printed
•
AW will be making arrangements with Hadrian Leisure under the same terms as last year ◦
Action on AW to arrange the meeting with Hadrian Leisure

StB reported positive feedback on Facebook for the Peak meet and Wednesday meets

AW proposed autumn sport climbing trip to Yorkshire
•
5 winter meets have been booked
•
JS has circulated a list of potential speakers ◦

Winter socials will be added to the next agenda for further discussion with a view to determining if we want to have high-profile speakers in light of the available budget ◦

Membership for the NMC in the Guidebook cooperative has been applied for and the NMC have been invited to send a representative to the next meeting of the Guidebook Cooperative

An email has been received about a historic article by an old Newcastle Mountaineering Club member about Millican Dalton. JD is handling this
Communications. JS has a number of interviewees lined up for the 70 th anniversary County Climber ◦ •
StB will advise JS of the possibility of interviewing Paul Ross
JS is on top of County Climber production and looking at costings for hard copies
