The streets of Sedgefield are decorated with over 70 mosaic creations, each a testament to the boundless creativity of the town’s residents. These captivating works of art have been skillfully crafted by the talented individuals of The Sedgefield Community Mosaic Project. Launched in 2008 by the beloved local NGO Masithandane, which aptly translates to “Let us love one another,” this initiative serves as both a means of skills development and community upliftment.

Through the years, the project has flourished, and the artists involved have experienced remarkable success. Their artistic endeavors have garnered admiration from private patrons, corporate entities, and even the municipality, who have commissioned their work. As a result, Sedgefield has become a living gallery, brimming with the imaginative mosaics that showcase the collective spirit of the town’s residents.
