December Student of the Month: Anthony Alberti

Anthony Alberti is the December Student of the Month for Newfield High School! He spreads positivity around the whole school while being involved in the Environmental Club. Anthony ’s passion for baseball drives him to be a star player. He gets inspiration from his parents as he says,

“they taught me to always treat people with respect as one day, it will find its way back to you. ” Some challenges Anthony faced was doing subpar in freshman year, although, through hard work and determination, he brought his grades up. He found improvement when he set aside time to study so he could enhance his understanding on certain subjects. Some advice for underclassmen from Anthony is, “if you go out of your way to help someone, it could make a much bigger impact on them than you could think. ” He plans to attend Suffolk County Community College and start studying to be either a commercial airline pilot or a professional statistician in the MLB. Anthony always says, “the best you could ever be is yourself. ” Congratulations Anthony!
