The training also addresses the reporting of crimes and crime statistics for Clery Act compliance when those crimes intersect with Title IX and Title VII. This training can be used in large groups or individually, and is appropriate for all employees, including staff, administrators, and faculty. Coordinator | Advocate/Educator | K–12 Sexual Misconduct Critical Issues Training for Boards Whether you have a conduct board, administrative hearing model, or use a separate board for sexual misconduct, institutions must train all hearing board members on an array of sexual misconduct issues. These four training modules, which are more recent than the Sexual Misconduct Judicial Training Series (see next page), were released in 2011 and focus on best practices and general competencies for all campuses, and on developmental, educational tools.

Module 1: Hearing Board Competencies An hour-long discussion covering generalized hearing board competencies, this module helps participants understand their role, the importance of policy application, how to assess the relevance and credibility of information, and the discipline of making a sanction and recommending sanctions.

Employee Training | Professional Development Sexual Misconduct Critical Issues Training for Boards Whether you have a conduct board, administrative hearing model, or use a separate board for sexual misconduct, institutions must train all hearing board members on an array of sexual misconduct issues. These four training modules, which are more recent than the Sexual Misconduct Judicial Training Series (see below), were released in 2011 and focus on best practices and general competencies for all campuses, and on developmental, educational tools.

Compliance | Resources & Response ATIXA Model Climate Surveys Keeping a pulse on the campus climate as it relates to sex and gender equity is a must for ensuring Title IX compliance. ATIXA makes it easier to conduct climate surveys with a research-based survey template under development that will be customizable as needed to fit any institution’s needs. Offered in modules, the survey will cover faculty and staff, students, reporting/reporters, response, prevention, safety, prevalence, and exit.

Pricing: The base modules will be offered free to ATIXA Full and Super members. Adding five more modules comes with a cost of $3,500. NCHERM will administer and/or analyze results for an additional cost. ATIXA nonmembers will be able to purchase the survey only in a $12,500 package that will include all modules and analytics.
