The curves and arcs of The Nautilus shell
Subtly reflecting the name, The Nautilus presents an interesting and fluid flow of spaces with interconnecting curves and circles. Following the golden spiral of the Nautilus shell, each interior space is designed to bring harmony and visual aesthetics. Without corners and edges, the curves and arcs bring an unorthodox approach to design articulating the space into a series of more intimate chambers; for relaxing, entertaining, resting, and indulgent bathing.
The use of grand doors or sliding partitions follows the design motif of spherical artisan space. Houses and residences with seamless flow and similar layouts are found in every setting of the island. Circular pitched roofs of residences and public pavilions provide opportunities for innovative and decorative treatment. Exposed roof timbers are arranged to create a variety of eye-catching radial designs, each unique to its particular building.
