It is fantastic to be visiting the National Justice Museum this August! We are delighted to be taking over the courtyard space and joining the museum in extending its footprint, creating a place for cultural exploration, artists and creative activities.
Protest S.H.E.D is a brilliant and vital part of our summer programme. We aim for people outside the museum to shape and inform what happens inside the museum, sharing thoughts and perspectives to create something extraordinary together.
Working in partnership with the National Justice Museum we have created a unique space for conversations with people about justice, the law and protest. These conversations are both urgent and necessary; for the future care of our planet and for society.

Allotments came out of protest and social unrest. Celebrate the outdoors by planting some seeds and reconnect with your loved ones after lockdown. Expect bubbles! Song for Nottingham Tom Hackett & Julian Woodcock
Participants will design a personal protest placard about an issue of their choosing. They will then take part in a short call and response 'Art protest' march from the Justice Museum to Market Square and back led by the artists. Please note this workshop includes protest banner making and a 20 min walk around Nottingham.
