HOUSE OF MUSES focuses on art & media to help us accomplish our mission. our main mission is to act out God‘s word, & become ”fishers of man” by offering Bible based teaching & resources. We want readers to be EMPOWER for THEIR OWN BREAKTHROUGHS. His Word reminds "A foolish man knoweth not..." so we must be rooted in his word. There's the world's system and then god's system. God is not of this world nor are his wonders and abilities.

She never lets me run from myself
We know there ain’t no where for a black Woman to run. The safest place for us to be is laying in our own arms
She reassures me that I’m worthy of being loved, being kept, being seen, for all the woman I am And all the woman I hope to be
She is a gentle reminder that there is A place carved just for me in God's heart
He thought of me when he made her
She gets mad when I don’t see myself
As she sees me
“Girl, love yourself”
“Girl you can do better than him”
“Girl you enough just as you are”
She’s been there every time I wanted to Leave Myself, everytime I lost Myself– She always brings me back home, Back to myself. Back to where I am loved
We are a long phone call on a Sunday afternoon
We talk about life, God, Men, Our next hair appointment.

Hope can feel incredibly fragile Think about the last time you sat across from a friend and listened as she opened up about a quiet desire, whether it was her dream to stay home with her kids, to pursue a new career, or to be healed from a struggle that’s been present her whole life When she decided to tell you, it was as if she handed you a piece of her heart and trusted you to handle it with care.
Sharing your hope, no matter the topic, feels delicate because hope expects an outcome. Hope looks to some sort of fulfillment or measure of success. When a friend speaks about what she hopes will happen, she becomes vulnerable to the possibility that it will never come to pass.
Rather than risk the embarrassment of having to explain what went wrong when our hopes don’t come true, it can seem safer to avoid sharing them at all even with God. We may try to shove away longings, thinking it will help us feel less disappointed if the desired outcome never occurs
As a single woman, you may think that if you give up hoping for a husband you won’t feel as bad when your relationship status remains the same I get it I’ve pretended it isn’t important to me and even, for seasons, stopped praying about the possibility of marriage altogether. But as followers of Jesus, we have a better option: we’ve been given a safe way to hope
Last month, I sent a survey to a group of single adults and asked: “When you pray for your future spouse, what do you pray for?” One woman’s response stood out. “I don’t usually pray for him,” she said. “I find it difficult to pray and to believe there is a person out there for me ”

"If
I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies and eaten alive...”
Chel C, a talented singer, songwriter and poet, has been making waves in the creative community with her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Her stage name, given to her by a high school ex-boyfriend, has stuck with her as she's pursued her passion for music and poetry over the past year. Though relatively new to the industry, Chel C has been singing her entire life and penning poems since the 6th grade. Her goal is simple - to make music that resonates with her own journey and experiences, rather than conforming to any specific genre or style. "If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies and eaten alive," Chel quotes, a tattoo on her hand that encapsulates her message of artistic authenticity and self-determination but also shows us a piece of where she comes from. This quote was shared with her by her Father.

Chel C brand goal and message is to make authentic music that reflects her journey and evolution as an artist over time. She draws inspiration from a wide range of artists across genres, refusing to limit herself to a single style or put herself in a creative box, keeping the message her Father instilled in her at the core of all things. As an artist, Chel C believes in knowing who you are from the start and allowing others to decide how they want to engage with you and support your vision. I found this thought to explain just how raw, unfiltered, yet creative this up and coming artist is. Drawing inspiration from the creative community at large, Chel C has several exciting projects on the horizon, including an upcoming feature with one of Cleveland’s well-known artists and performances, and a featured event in Pennsylvania at The House of Creative Arts February 15th.
Her ultimate goal is to release an EP and expand her reach beyond her home state within the next five years. Through her music and poetry, Chel C has learned the importance of self-reflection and letting go of “your inner demons,” while also learning valuable lessons about moving forward without falling back into bad habits. While her journey in the industry has only just begun, Chel C is already making a name for herself with her unique blend of creativity, rawness, and animation. Guided by the wisdom imparted by her father and fueled by her unwavering passion, Chel C is undoubtedly a rising star to watch in the world of music and poetry. No longer content with being a people-pleaser, Chel C is actively seeking mentorship to help guide her towards becoming a leader in her own life. With a clear vision for 2025, she is committed to staying true to her goals and following her chosen path. A pivotal moment in her career was being apart of a competition at Breakthrough Sound.

With a bright future ahead of her, this rising star is definitely one to watch. No matter what the future holds, her brand can be summed up in three words: creative, uncut, and exuberant. And she wants people to know one thing above all - no matter what she does, she's gonna keep singing her heart out.

You are the love i need to heal for
You are the one I’d walk around in heels for You make me want to heal more
For you
Before i can tell you
I want to do more than just see you
I want your spirit to see me
The essence of you to fill me
I want you to be filled by me
Woman see you and see a quick fuck
I see you and wonder how i can get
You to open up
Your mind and soul just for me
So i can cherish it
I’ve got diplomatic immunity
When it comes to you
The laws by which you stand

Upon when it comes to love
Don’t apply to me
Because when i came into your life
I was granted full autonomy
Because the second i spoke with you
The trust was established and all Doubt had vanished
And I knew i wanted you to be apart of me
And I don’t mean just physically I just hate stalling, and low balling
Telling you That I’m falling....

"The only one stopping you from being a better you is you."

Sianah World, is the musical alter ego of a talented young singer who has been honing her craft since childhood. Growing up in a strict but loving two-parent christian household, Sianah developed a deep passion for music through singing in church. Her stage name, a clever play on her real name, represents her invitation to listeners to enter her unique musical world.

After years of trying to do the 9-5 life
Sianah took the leap in 2017 to pursue music full-time and share her soulful, dreamy sound with the world. Her music comes straight from the heart, exploring the many facets of love - from the soaring heights of passion to the ache of heartbreak to the peace of self-love and acceptance. Senniah has learned to embrace her quirks and pour her authentic self into her art. She has discovered this realness is what audiences connect with. This lover girl’s brand and music come from a profound place of love - the deep love she has for the important people in her life, and most importantly, the love she has for herself.
To Sianah, love isn't just about romantic relationships; it's a powerful force that starts with truly loving and accepting yourself first and foremost. This potent self-love radiates outwards and touches everything she does, especially her music.
When entering Sianah World, her greatest wish is for the audience to feel her intense passion and the love she pours into every note. Her musical journey was inspired not only by pure passion but by a desire to break free from the norms and experience the liberating rebellion embodied by her older sister, the "black sheep" of the family. Though being sheltered had its pros and cons, it allowed Sianah to avoid being easily influenced and to become her own biggest inspiration. With her birthday on February 28th, Sianah is preparing to release a deeply personal project: her new album "Memoir of my Heart, Part 2", which will be available on all platforms. The album fearlessly explores all the complex spaces within love - the soaring highs of falling in love, the aching depths of heartbreak, the search for healing, and the ultimate realization that the love you seek begins within yourself.

Looking ahead five years, this artist envisions her brand reaching new heights, performing on bigger stages and using her music to support her family full-time While mainstream fame isn't her primary goal, she aspires to achievealevelofsuccessthatallowshertotakecareofher loved ones Alongside her is a partner who shares her passion, and together they plan to keep growing and evolving Her target market appreciates and connects with this realness. Being an artist is about more than just making music; it's telling a story. She's also recognized the importance of mental health along the way One of the most surprising things has been seeing, “how truly dope she is when she gets out of her own way” Trusting her instincts and letting her natural talents shine has led to exciting growth and progress that continues to motivate her forward Sianah’s journey as an artist has been one of passion, perseverance, and staying true to her calling. While she doesn't point to a single defining achievement, she finds euphoria every time she takes the stage, each performance feeling fresh and exciting. Her boyfriend, who has a knack for networking and making the most of limited resources, has been an inspiration, showing her thatanythingispossibleifyoudreambig.

Whenasked,Toryshared thatherbrandrevolvesaroundthe femaleexperience,withaparticular focusonempoweringandinspiring women,especiallyBlackwomen,to pursuetheirdreamsandprioritize theirhealing.

This young, yet wise poet creates her poetry to shine a light on topics that are often left in the shadows for these black women, such as their goals, fears, and any other challenges that women face. She went a little further to express how her own healing process is reflected in her work, such as in her poem "She Ain't Woman Enough," which explores the complexities of womanhood. Tory's writing serves as a catalyst for conversation and connection, with countless women approaching her after performances to share their own stories and experiences, her art even serving as conversation pieces in her own family. Allowing them to now discuss family issues that have allowed for healing for not only herself but the family members as well. This opened up new avenues for forgiveness and understanding, as exemplified in her piece "Mother Daughter," which delves into her parents' relationship.
With a book release on the horizon titled, "Sincerely, a Girl That Needed to Vent." The book will be divided into three parts - vent, love, and heal - mirroring the young poet’s own journey and stories from her childhood that have shaped her. This young poet's dream does not stop there, she has aspirations to take her poetry on the road, continue writing, and venture into public speaking. A standout moment was winning her first poetry slam in the summer of 2024 against a formidable lineup, making this new poet feel like she had truly arrived. This moment was more than the award itself, it was the affirmation that mattered most. She listed one of her proudest moments being named Rookie Poet of the Year in 2024, with the People Love Poetry platform. Tory not only a poet of great talent but great humility, crediting her following and gift to God, stating “He gave me this gift.” The way poetry makes this poet feel, and how much it has healed her, made it clear this is what she's meant to do - she owes it to herself and God to see where it can take her; while sharing it with others who may benefit. Her ultimate goal is for her audience to feel seen, heard, and loved; to inspire them to embrace their own strengths and pursue their dreams with passion and purpose through her words.

This profound poet has learned many lessons about herself, her art, and its impact on her audience through her poetry journey, discovering the importance of self-love and embracing her own unique talents rather than comparing herself and her journey to others; she has also applied that realization to other aspects of her life . Her art speaks to deep truths and emotions, with the power to make audiences feel and connect on a visceral level Tory recognizes that people turn to poetry to feel something meaningful, and her mission is to evoke those feelings, even if the work is challenged or not universally liked. These insights have transformed this emotive poet, as a person and artist. She approaches challenges with gratitude instead of resentment, channeling her experiences into her writing. Building consistency and good habits, just as she did with hereducation, hasbeenkeytohergrowth.
“be patient, listen more than you speak, and immerse yourself in the art form as much as possible...”
Her advice to aspiring creatives is to be patient, listen more than you speak, and immerse yourself in the art form as much as possible; sharing that she herself didn't become as skilled of a poet until she began doing just that. If you would like to support Tory and her journey, follow her on Instagram @atonlyonetory and attend any poetry/ open mic shows in Cleveland - “supporting these venues are how you support me.” The young poet quotes. She continued, “Let's make Cleveland a poetry destination!” Tory's favorite piece of advice: “How you do anything is how you do everything. Figure out what your anything is, because that's what your everything will be. Find your weaknesses, but also playtoyourstrengths.”
Tory's art is truly profound - she's not just running her mouth, but really has something meaningful to say. Her journey has taught her the importance of self-love, authenticity, and the power of her own unique voice. As Cleveland's art scene continues to flourish, Tory hopes to see the city become a hub for poetry like other big cities such as New York, Philly and others, inspiring others to share their stories and embrace the transformative power of the spoken word Tory wants people to know her poetry aims to make them feel seen, heard and loved In three words, herpoetryisemotive, introspectiveandloving.

While growing up, the words I love you
Were both a warm greeting and a peaceful parting gift
I watched my mother say I love you to
The woman on the corner who always asked her for Five dollars
I think she knew that in another life that woman
Could have been her
I watched my father say I love you
To all of eight of his daughters and All three of his sons
His words– a gentle reminder that masculine is
Still closely related to emotional
I love you was a plate of reassurance in my family
An apology when the words I’m sorry couldn’t Find their way past a sisters ego or a grandmothers stubbornness
I love you was always accessible in my household
A reminder that you were loved, Thought of and important
But I, became so hungry for the affection of a boy
So in need of that parting gift,
That I quickly say I love you to him first
In hopes that he says it back
That I get that same plate of reassurance
My father always gave me
I am nothing more than a girl
Who wants the romance she’s never seen
The sweet song she’s never heard
The passion she’s never felt
And I think it all exist in three big words
I love you
I don’t know nothing at all
But still, I pretend I do. So say it back, please

Dear Reader,
My prayer for you is that you will allow god to use you. That the day you hear his voice harden not your heart but allow him to come in and make you whole and new; for the Lord has much work for his people to do. I pray that the Lord continues to supply your every need and that He will provide you with the things your need in order to walk in your anointing. I pray that the desire of your heart aline with the desire of the Father. I pray that your Faith grow not weary but stronger in the dark times. I pray as you walk in your calling that the light of Heaven shines on you so bright that others ask, “what must I do to be saved?” I pray the works of the enemy will no longer come against You and your household, that generational cruses are broken and the chains of cycles fall off of you and your household. I pray that God puts angels at every doorway and window. For it is the works of my Father that believe all things so.
These blessings we ask in your name, Amen
