About Susan

Susan Crowley is a Class A member of the LPGA. Throughout a career of over 25 years, she has gained national recognition as an accomplished instructor and leader within the golf industry.

Susan has received numerous honors for her teaching expertise, including the 2011 LPGA National Teacher of the Year, LPGA Western Section Teacher of the Year, US Kids Golf Top 50 Teachers, and 2023 Top 50 LPGA Golf Instructor. Susan creates fun, innovative teaching programs that include private, group, and on-course coaching. These programs have helped countless women, men, and juniors enjoy the game of golf and understand their personalized golf path. Susan has always believed whether you are learning to play because your friends do or are a collegiate player striving to play professionally–golf should be a fulfilling, fun, and positive part of your life.

Women’s Golf 2024

Women have never had a better time to learn or get back into golf at The Minikahda Club. Join Susan for all the golf programs explicitly designed for women to learn and play on the golf course.

New(er) Golfer Programs

Learning the game of golf has two distinct parts: Building solid fundamentals like grip, stance, swing, and club selection. The second is playing on the course. This program will teach both pieces to ensure you understand the game and have FUN!!

Golf FORE Women is learning the fundamentals to get you out on the course! Susan will introduce/start you back into this great game! Ease your fear of embarrassment, build confidence, and make golf fun while playing with your friends.

Start your golf journey by learning all the shots to play the game, answer all your questions, and get you out on the course to play!

This 5-week program focuses on playing golf and making it fun to track progress over time.

• Keep your mornings open; PLAY Golf Fore Women begins Thursday, May 23rd .

• Maximum six women per class.

• Cost: $225 for all sessions; includes tools to play.

Dates:

Session 1 dates: Tuesday May 7th , 14th, 21st, 28th, June 4th 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Session 2 dates: Thursday May 9th, 16th, June 6th, 13th, 20th 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Session 3 dates: Tuesday June 11th , 18th, 25th, July 9th , 16th 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

*Due to the holiday, class will not be held on July 2nd .

PLAY Golf FORE OP36: There are six play dates, and players may participate in as many play days as they want. Each play day consists of 9-hole golf and allows you to play golf in a comfortable environment, meet new friends, and have fun. Any golfer is welcome to join; contact Susan for the fun details!

Tee times are available between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Play Days: Thursday May 23rd, June 27th, July 18th, August 1st, August 22nd, September 5th

Cost: $25 per play day

Instruction-only Drop-in Days: Please register on ForeTees Thursday July 25th, August 15th, August 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Returning Player Programs

Women’s Spring Tune-Up Clinic: Who is ready for the 2024 golf season? Start it off right with the Spring Tune-Up Clinics! You may sign-up for as many Tune-Ups as you’d like. Each class is limited to six women per session.

Sign-up on Fore-Tees beginning April 1st. $40 per person per class.

Women’s On-Course Classes: Introducing a 2 ½-hour on-course class tailored to enhance your experience on our golf course. This class will explore troubleshots, club selection, game management, and strategies for lowering your score. Classes are limited to four members, ensuring a focused and personalized learning environment. These oncourse sessions will improve your scores through course management.

Cost: $150 per person per class.

Sign-up on Fore-Tees beginning April 1st. Classes are limited to four students.
