Al, or Artificial intelligence, is a fascinating field that has come a long way in the past few years. It is changing the way we live and work, and it's also a lot of fund Here are a few amazing things you might not know about Al:

If you thought you were pretty good at 'chess' or 'Go', think again. Al programs have beaten some of the best human players in these games and many others. In 2016, Google's AlphaGo program defeated the world champion 'Go' player, Les Sedol. In 1997, IBM's Deep Blue computer famously defeated chess champion Garry Kasparov.

Al can create music that is ... surprisingly good! Researchers have created Al programs that can compose original pieces of music in a wide range of styles, from classical to pop. One program, called Amper, even lets users create their own custom music tracks by selecting different genres, moods, and instruments.

Self-driving cars are one of the most exciting applications of AI. Companies like Tesla Waymo, and Uber are all working on developing autonomous vehicles that can safely navigate the roads without human intervention.

AI personal shopping assistants, like the app Shopbrain, can help you find deals on the products you want to buy. These programs use machine learning algorithms to analyse millions of products and prices from hundreds of retailers, giving you personalised recommendations and alerts when prices drop.

AI can generate artworks that rival those created by humans. One program, DeepDream, creates surreal and abstract images by photos and identifying patterns and features.

Who knows what other things AI will do in the future? But one thing is certain: with AI, the possibilities are truly endless!
