Barnsley’s famous market is over 700 years old and has over 300 stalls located in both indoor and outdoor areas. It’s a great place to find anything and everything and this Friday and Saturday will see the first Teenagers Market. A team of young entrepreneurs will set out their stalls to bring even greater choice. Only the best and highest quality fresh produce is available from local suppliers. The market has a wonderful selection of fresh meats available, daily deliveries of fresh fish and provides a huge range of products. If you are looking for furniture, jewellery, e-cigarettes, fashion, sweets and much, much more, you will find they are all available at Barnsley Market. With its own multi-story car park and train and bus stations close by, there is every reason to visit this weekend. In this feature, The Mercury profiles some of the great businesses and offers to be found there. And don’t forget to enter our great competition!
