After cancelled trips, postponed celebrations, and quarantined travel delays - travellers are now ready to start making up for lost time and get out there. Time to get them out of those sweat pants and put themselves first, ready for the travel experiences they deserve. Over the next year, an estimated 40% of U.S. based travelers are much more willing to treat themselves and spend more money on their next trip. From an indulgence in a grand luxury experience, to checking off their bucket-list destinations, or opting for premium lodging and flights - its all about splurging on anything or all the things that can take your trip or travel plans from just mediocre to extravagant. A study revealed that travelers between the ages of 18 and 34 are more likely to go big, while those travelers in Gen-X are more likely to splurge on high-end dining experiences.

Going big does not simply mean taking a bucket-list trip and calling it a done deal. In the coming year, American travelers are pursuing their greatest-of-all-time trips by stepping outside comfort zones and immersing themselves in a chosen destination, culture, and/or experience that is completely different to their norm.

From having a go at foods never eaten or experienced before and experimenting

with exotic local delicacies, to attending authentic music venues, and seeking out off the beaten path excursions and destinations, U.S. travelers have a renewed curiosity to indulge and experience the world.

Travelers are not just craving new places or tastes, they are also yearning the feeling of excitement and exhilaration that are once again available to be sought after..
