InmyfirstweekIlost7.5pounds andgotmyfirstaward.Thiswasa greatstartandIknewthatitwas becausebeforemydiethadbeen pre�yawful.Bys�ckingtotheplanI hadmadeabigfirststep.Ithought mynextweekmightnotbeas successful, howeverIlostanother6.5 poundswhichalsogainedmemy‘1 stone’awardinjust14days!
Mystar�ngweightwas19stone6 poundsandinallhonestyIwasn’tsure whatIwantedasmytarget.Idecided on6stoneasthatwouldbejustabove thehealthyrangeontheBMIscale, whichIabsolutelydetestasitdoesn’t takeintoaccountbodyframe, butI thoughtitcouldbearoughguide.
Overthenext10weekstheweight losskeptcoming,asdidtheawards, andImanagedtogetmyweightdown to17stoneand1poundandwas awardedmy‘Club10’whichmeantI’d lost10%ofmybodyweight.
Assoonasmy12weekswereupI pre-paidagaintohelpmestay commi�ed. Buta�erafewweeks myweightplateauedandIwasn’t seeingthesamelossesasbefore.I dohavechronicfa�guesyndrome andhadbeenwipedoutwithCovid, soI’dbeenhavinglotsoftreatsjust tryingtogetthroughbeingunwell.
LastSeptemberIstartedbackat Slimmingworldforthefourth �me.IhopedIcouldfocusasIhad lessdistrac�onsathometopoten�ally stopmefromfullyfollowingtheplan.
