A����� �� P�� F����� We’re saying goodbye to summer Now the nights are drawing in We’ve had some beau�ful weather Long hot days giving such pleasure Darker mornings, shorter days, Waking each morning to a misty haze The trees changing colour, such a lovely sight Harves�ng done before we lose the light Off go the children back to school Central heated classrooms will now be the rule The children are planning for Halloween Harvest Fes�val and Bonfire night they are all very keen Home from school before it gets dark Autumn is certainly making its mark C�������� �� ������ �� P�� F����� Christmas is coming, let’s all be merry We’ll collect mistletoe and holly with lots of berries This year in a recession how will we cope? An old fashioned Christmas could give us some hope Of managing with in a budget could be very good One present each and lots of hearty food Remembering the reason for this celebra�on Midnight mass is one of those occasions Singing songs about Jesus the baby infant Listening to the Kings speech this year will be very different We’ll play lots of board games and watch Christmas films Then off to bed when we’ve had our fill
