The proposed Joint Venture partners, Fertilizer Corporation of India, Gas Authority Of India Limited, Coal India Limited and Rashtriya Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited also gave their views for firming up of the Joint Venture for the project.

The Indian government should try to decrease the overuse of urea in India agriculture and diversify to other nitrogenous fertilizers.

MULTI-SHAFT MIXERS IDEAL FOR LARGE SCALE PROCESSING OF PASTES, GELS AND SUSPENSIONS : Ross Multi-Shaft Mixers are ideal for large-scale processing of pastes, gels, dispersions, suspensions and slurries from low to high viscosity. Equipped with two or three independently-driven agitators working in tandem, these versatile machines are designed for heavy-duty mixing under controlled temperature and can deliver a wide range of shear levels.

Shown is a 2000-gal Triple-Shaft Mixer featuring a helical three-wing anchor agitator, a high speed sawtooth disperser blade and a high shear rotor/stator emulsifier. This fixed-tank design mixer is rated for full vacuum operation up to 29.5” Hg. Stainless steel 316L wetted parts are polished to a 240-grit finish. The domed cover includes flanged ports, spray balls, an RTD thermoprobe and a 24” manway.

A pneumatically-operated sanitary discharge valve, dimpled 100-psig stainless steel jacket and rotary vane vacuum pump were supplied as well.

The mixer is controlled from a 15” color touch screen connected to a preprogrammed PLC. ALFA LAVAL WINS SEK 50 MILLION OIL AND GAS ORDER IN ANGOLA : Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers for two FPSOs to be moored offshore Angola. The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 50 million and delivery is scheduled for 2015.

The order comprises compact heat exchangers for various duties, such as cooling, heating and condensation, in the processing of crude oil onboard the FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels).

“This is yet another order related to the oil and gas industry, this time to the offshore sector. It proves our products' performance and reliability in these heavy duties,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

ADM TECH CENTER IN ERLANGER, KENTUCKY : Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) announced today that it has selected Erlanger, Kentucky, as the site for its new information technology and support center. The center, which will open in the second half of 2015, will be located on the same campus as ADM's WILD Flavors Erlanger offices.

by establishing our new technology center there,” said Marty Schoenthaler, ADM's chief information officer. “ADM is growing, and this new center will help ensure that our IT support and infrastructure are able to support that growth.

“We considered other locations, but in the end, co-locating this facility with our WILD Flavors offices in Erlanger offered us a wealth of advantages,” Schoenthaler added.

“One of the ways in which ADM is making ongoing progress in enhancing returns is through careful consideration of costs throughout the business. In this case, we are controlling costs by using available space in a building we already own, and also by benefitting from tax incentives offered by the commonwealth. We will also be able to recruit from a strong local talent pool in northern Kentucky, and we will have quick and easy access to a major airport. This is a great example of the many synergies that we're realizing following the WILD acquisition.”

The center will open in the second half of 2015 with approximately 100 contractors and ADM colleagues. The staff will eventually expand to approximately 200 ADM colleagues.

The majority of the positions will be newly created as ADM expands its global IT support and infrastructure. In addition, 1ADM—the planning and implementation of the company's new enterprise resource planning system—will be supported at the new facility.

ADM will maintain its existing IT center at the company's North American headquarters in Decatur, Illinois, and will also continue delivering IT services from several other ADM locations throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Eventually, ADM will be recruiting to fill a wide variety of positions at the Erlanger center, including project managers, business analysts and solution integrators.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved tax incentives of up to $5 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program. In order to qualify for the incentives, ADM has committed to recruit heavily in Kentucky for newly created positions at the center. KEDFA also approved ADM for tax benefits of up to $200,000 through the Kentucky Enterprise Initiative Act. “I am delighted to celebrate ADM's location of a new IT center in Erlanger,” said Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear. “This investment not only creates 200 high-paying jobs for the citizens of northern Kentucky, but it also demonstrates the company's confidence in Kentucky's quality workforce and business climate.
