TRANSFORMING MACKAY MARINA
Mackay Marina wanted more than a standard walkway mat. Their busy marina needed a solution that could handle harsh coastal conditions while keeping the space safe and appealing. The Mat Group worked closely with the team to design a custom, high-performance mat that would protect the walkway, showcase their brand, and withstand daily foot traffic in a challenging environment.
OUR SOLUTION: The Mat Group provided a custom SpiralLoop Inlay Logo Mat (unbacked). Its unbacked design allows water and debris to pass through. The UV-stable materials retain colour, and the anti-slip surface improves safety. Likewise, the inlay logo ensured the marina’s branding was clear and continuous along the walkway.

The marina’s walkway faces constant sun, salt and moisture which made durability a concern. There was no existing mats, so heavy foot traffic from staff and visitors threatened to accelerate wear.
