Dear TMLA Alumna, As you may know, each spring our Parent Club holds its annual auction. This auction is our largest fundraiser of the year. Instead of limiting the auction to th those who can attend on Friday March 4 , we have decided to open our auction to ALL TMLA alumna.

If you win, you will be notified by Christa, send in your check or credit card payment by phone (FYI: payment can be made by calling TMLA and speaking with the finance department and telling them it is an auction payment) and your prize will be mailed/delivered to you.

Over the years, many of you have been very generous in your donations to TMLA and now we would like to give you the opportunity to donate in a unique way! Participate and win in the Silent Auction and you not only make a donation to TMLA, you also get a prize!

We know this sounds somewhat complicated but really, it’s not! We have so many wonderful items which really are more appropriate for our alumna and their families (we really don’t know any 17 year old girls who are interested in being a bat boy/girl at the Dugout of Dreams, but we do know that there must be an alumna out there who has a little child who would want to invite 12 of his or her friends to a ball game, sit in the dugout, feast on hot dogs and popcorn and be dressed in uniform and be the bat boy/girl at the gamecorrect?)

How does it work? Even if you cannot attend the function, you can still bid. Bidding opens on th th Saturday evening (February 27 ) at 6pm and will close on Friday (March 4 ) at 10am. It is pretty simple. If you are interested in a particular item just send your bid to THETMLAAUCTION2016@GMAIL.COM. Christa Treitmeier-Meditz, Class ’81,P’19 will be tracking all bids.
