Short visits through history t In Romsey’s :DU 0HPRULDO 3DUN you will find a statue of a horse and its rider. Created by local sculptor, Amy Goodman, the War Horse statue commemorates the 120,000 horses and mules who worshipped for war service battle during World War I. t Visit the final resting place of Florence Nightingale. The small church of 6W 0DUJDUHW¶V in East Wellow is the perfect shrine to the memory of The Lady with the Lamp. t Originally opened around 1870 and closed in 1982, 5RPVH\ 6LJQDO %R[ has been restored to operational order and is open to the public twice a month.

Days out on the River Test
