Hello, I'm Alison! I'm a freshman from the east coast of the United States. I've got a “seem-to-be-cold” personality but an insatiable curiosity + passion about current events. When it comes to food, I'm all about exploring the diverse flavors in the school cafeteria, and I'm passionate about trying out various cultural cuisines. Everyone is unique. Every culture is fascinating Life, to me, is like a thrilling adventure, and I can't wait to dive into it all. Whether it's discussing hot topics or savoring global flavors, I'm excited to share my enthusiasm with you! I am Yue Luhan, an experienced Chinese teacher for foreigners. I graduated from Shanghai International Studies University and got my bachelor's degree. I obtained my master's degree in Universidad Pontificia Comillas, the best private university in Spain. My research orientation was teaching Chinese to Spanish adolescents. I began to teach Chinese to foreigners in 2018, and my courses include 1-on-1 online and offline classes to western adult students and offline mini-classes to western adolescents and children. I mainly teach the curricula of HSK and YCT with abundant teaching experiences. I am outgoing and active. I can interact with my students in a friendly and relaxed mood and help my students to learn Chinese knowledge and skills happily.

我们都知道，人是会害羞的。但是，有些植物也是会 害羞的。你见过害羞的植物吗？今天我们就来了解两 种会害羞的植物吧！ 在夏天的时候，如果一个地方有很多树，那里就会比 较凉快。这是因为树叶会遮盖住阳光，我们就觉得不 那么热了。但是，当你抬头看的时候，你还是能看到 一些阳光的。其实，在每棵树的树冠之间是有缝隙 的。这些树冠好像很害羞，不愿意和别的树冠紧紧地 靠在一起。这就是害羞的树冠。 我们知道，树木在慢慢长大的时候，它们的树冠也会 变得越来越大。如果一棵树的树冠碰到另外一棵树， 这些树冠就会把阳光都遮盖住。一些小的植物就没办 法吸收到阳光了。所以，一棵树在长大的时候，它的 树冠就变得“害羞”了起来。树冠和树冠之间就会留下 一点缝隙，所有的树就都能吸收到阳光了。原 来，“害羞的树冠”是在做一件好的事情呢！ 大家应该都认识“含羞草”吧！它的叶子小小的，像小 鸟的羽毛，还会开不同颜色的花。我记得，在我还是 个小孩子的时候，经常和朋友们去玩含羞草。我们用 手轻轻地摸一下它，它的叶子就会很快地合起来。含 羞草就像害羞的小孩子一样，真是太好玩了！原来我 们只是觉得它好玩，现在我们才知道含羞草为什么会 害羞。这是因为，含羞草的叶子很敏感。如果你用手 去摸它，它会觉得有危险，就会把叶子合起来，这样 可以保护它自己。而且，如果天气不太好，它的叶子 也是会合起来的。 原来植物真的是会害羞啊！除了上面说到的两种植 物，你知道还有什么植物会害羞吗？ 作者：春夏 TMM | 07
