Designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978, the Arceau has undergone a transformation showcasing Hermès’ creativity and expertise. Its round case with asymmetrical stirrup-shaped lugs lends itself to craftsmanship that is as demanding as it is
unexpected. Featuring playful animation, engraving, miniature painting and horsehair marquetry, the dial of the Arceau watch reinterprets the mischievous horse imagined by Dimitri Rybaltchenko for the Rocabar de rire silk scarf.

The Italian maison, a celebr ated leader in the jewelry sector, is poised to unveil a dynamic multichannel communication campaign from the new island of Sindalah in the Red Sea, Saudi Ar abia.
G
eorgina Rodriguez, a prominent figure in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, as well as a longtime friend of the house who has worn Pasquale Bruni jewelry on numerous important occasions, will star in a robust communication campaign debuting across all Gulf countries. Initially scheduled to launch in strategic locations within Sindalah, including the National and International Airport, the campaign will subsequently be promoted through digital, print, and out-ofhome advertising, extending to all countries where the brand is experiencing significant growth, including Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. This choice was inspired by the brand’s previously established presence within the Sindalah Department Store, a partnership that will soon be further strengthened by the opening of a Pasquale Bruni mono-brand boutique as part of one of Neom’s upcoming projects. Sindalah is not just a location; it embodies a moment in time and an unprecedented project, marking Neom’s first steps while signaling a new era of global tourism, where three continents intersect. A space where luxury increasingly transforms into 11

unique adventures and experiences that transcend the ordinary. To inaugurate this momentous occasion, an exquisite two-day event will welcome 250 of the world’s most influential figures, offering them the opportunity to indulge in a curated selection of experiences as they explore the new island from October 23 to 25. NEOM is the most significant project to be developed in the Gulf countries to date. Eugenia Bruni, Creative Director of Pasquale Bruni, shares her thoughts on the collaboration: ‘With Georgina, it was love at first sight. I was captivated by her personality, her passionate spirit, and above all, her big heart. She is a woman who loves, feels, and breathes our jewelry while conveying wonder, genuine emotions, and positive vibrations, embodying the essence of our creations.’ In the photos capturing her essence, Georgina Rodriguez interprets some of Pasquale Bruni’s most iconic collections, including Giardini Segreti Green Soul, featuring brilliant emeralds and sparkling white diamonds—exclusively created for the Arab market—as well as the Aleluià and Heart to Earth collections. The campaign will include four distinct launch drops aligned with additional focal moments. In addition to this initial launch in October/November, a second moment will follow during the winter period of December/January, then during Ramadan, and finally in the summer, around May/June 13

THE GIFT OF DISCOVERY
D
iscovery is a thrill, a bolt of lightning that runs through your soul like an unexpected spark, the joy of suddenly revealing something that was previously concealed. Discovering means examining even things that we’ve already seen through new eyes, the way we do on Christmas Eve when we observe carefully wrapped packages under a twinkling tree.
Every piece of gift-wrapping is a promise, every bow, a woven poem of expectations. You let your fingers linger on the edge of the package to prolong that moment of mystery and wonder. It’s a ritual that belongs to the young and old alike, a delicate bridge between the magic of childhood and the joys of adulthood. When we unwrap a gift we do much more than just open it – we pull back the veil between dreams and reality, and touch the thoughts of the ones who have chosen to give us a gift. Then, when the ribbon gives way and the paper crumples under your fingers, your expectations explode into a smile. Regardless of what’s inside the package, the unwrapping ritual is a festivity in its own right and must be celebrated.

TIME REIMAGINED HIGHLIGHTS FROM WATCHES AND WONDERS GENEVA 2025 AN EXCLUSIVE LOOK INTO THE YEAR’S MOST CAPTIVATING CREATIONS IN HAUTE HORLOGERIE
16
Bits of Glitz
Each spring, the world’s most prestigious watch maisons converge in Geneva for what has become the pinnacle of horological presentation — Watches and Wonders. In 2025, the event transcended expectations, delivering a captivating mix of innovation, tradition, and technical prowess. Amid early leaks and hushed whispers, the drama was palpable—but so was the brilliance. This year, Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin once again dominated conversations, unveiling exceptional timepieces that redefine precision and elegance.
17
As always, Patek Philippe entered the fair with understated poise and exited with widespread admiration. The new Ref. 6196P, a spiritual successor to the beloved Ref. 5196, rejuvenates the Calatrava line with subtle elegance and the beautifully balanced Calibre 30-255 PS. True enthusiasts will appreciate its nod to the house’s unwavering commitment to purity in timekeeping.
PATEK PHILIPPE: A CELEBRATION OF COMPLICATIONS
More mechanically ambitious is the Ref. 5308G, a tour-de-force in grand complications. This timepiece integrates a split-seconds chronograph, minute repeater, and instantaneous perpetual calendar, while debuting two innovative mechanical enhancements: an anti-backlash chronograph wheel and an isolation system to improve energy efficiency. It’s the kind of high horology that rewards both the eye and the intellect—an heirloom of future legend.

ROLEX: COMMANDING THE STAGE, LEAK OR NO LEAK
Although this year’s fair kicked off under the shadow of a surprising early reveal—Rolex’s new releases were leaked ahead of schedule—it didn’t stop the Genevan powerhouse from stealing the spotlight. All eyes were on the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, a bold, transformative addition to the Rolex legacy. Paired with the introduction of the new Calibre 7135 and not one but two fresh bracelet designs, Rolex once again underscored its unmatched ability to combine classic design with cutting-edge engineering. The Land-Dweller is being heralded as the most important watch release of 2025—transcending categories, competitors, and geography. And while the leaks may have dulled the surprise, they only sharpened the anticipation. This timepiece, we are told, will soon make its way to global markets beyond Bucherer, solidifying its place as a milestone in modern watchmaking.

VACHERON CONSTANTIN: SOLARIA ULTRA AND THE ART OF HOROLOGICAL MASTERY
In a dazzling testament to artisanal craftsmanship, Vacheron Constantin unveiled its Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication, now recognized as the most functionally complex watch ever created—with 41 complications housed within a remarkably slender 14.99mm case. Its dual-faced design and exquisite engineering are awe-inspiring, but the story goes deeper. This horological marvel was brought to life by a single master watchmaker—a poetic nod to old-world artistry. While the creator remains anonymous, aficionados are already searching for a discreet signature à la Jean-Marc Vacheron. Only one Solaria Ultra will be made, securing its place as a once-in-a-generation masterpiece.

CHANEL J12 BLEU: A NEW MOOD IN COLOUR Bold hues continue to flourish across dial designs in 2025, challenging the reign of monochrome minimalism. Among the most intriguing releases is Chanel’s J12 Bleu. A play on mystery and emotion, it lives up to the campaign’s claim: “It’s not black. It’s not white. It’s Bleu.” More than a color choice, it reflects Chanel’s evolving horological identity—one that combines fashion, form, and functionality in perfect rhythm.
21
ZENITH: A RETURN TO ROOTS WITH THE GFJ
From technical extremes to minimalist beauty, Zenith marked its 160th anniversary with the elegant GFJ collection—a tribute to precision and heritage. Reintroducing the revered manual-winding Calibre 135, this new line focuses solely on time-only watches, with a fresh modern twist: a 72-hour power reserve and chronometer-grade precision at +/-2 seconds per day. Though a chronograph may be in the pipeline, the GFJ’s debut emphasizes clean lines, impeccable engineering, and quiet confidence—a collector’s delight and a nod to the enduring values of fine watchmaking.

A LANDSCAPE OF ELEGANCE AND EVOLUTION
Beyond the hero pieces, the fair was rich with narratives. Case sizes are slimming, materials are evolving, and colour is having a moment— yet tradition remains firmly at the center. While brands like Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Bulgari continue to explore non-traditional shapes, the dominant silhouette remains round. And yes, Hublot celebrated 20 years of its iconic Big Bang with a flurry of limited editions—teasing surprises to come. Despite the looming uncertainty of international tariff shifts, the watch world marches forward with confidence. The U.S. remains the top market for Swiss timepieces, and while the economic landscape may shift, the emotional and aesthetic value of horology is constant.
23
Bits of Glitz
LOOKING AHEAD: WHAT TIME WILL TELL As Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 closes its doors, one thing is clear: the future of fine watchmaking is bright, bold, and beautifully complex. From once-in-a-lifetime grand complications to quiet revolutions in form and function, the industry continues to balance innovation with heritage—reminding us all that time, when crafted with care, becomes art.

I
n 1755, Jean-Marc Vacheron signed his first apprenticeship contract, which defined the starting point of a quest for excellence and a human adventure. To embody 270 years of technical and aesthetic mastery, the Maison has developed the most complicated wristwatch in horological history, answering its motto of “Do better if possible, and that is always possible”. With 41 complications, this single-piece edition, which is the subject of 13 patent applications, is the result of eight years of research and development. A masterpiece of innovation, it incorporates five astronomical functions never previously combined in watchmaking. With 1521 components, the new manufacture Calibre 3655 is housed in a white gold case with a 45mm diameter and a height of just 14.99mm, a true feat of miniaturisation. Complementing the technical achievement of this watch, its refined aesthetic is designed to optimise the legibility of its many functions.
41 COMPLICATIONS, A TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT
Grand Complication watches have been part of Vacheron Constantin’s universe since its earliest days. Throughout the Maison’s 270-year history, this technical mastery has been powerfully expressed in the field of time measurement, musical, chronographic and astronomical indications, as well as in the art of combining them. Since developing its first watch with a date calendar complication display at the end of the 18th century, Vacheron Constantin has continually pushed the boundaries of mechanical watchmaking, particularly in the field of astronomical complications – as illustrated by the pocket watch with 13 complications created in 1929 for King Fouad I of Egypt. More recently, Les Cabinotiers pieces such as the Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600 (2017), Astronomical Striking Grand Complication – Ode to Music (2020) and Armillary Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar – Planetaria (2021), and The Berkley Grand Complication (2024) are distinguished not only by their aesthetics originality but also by rare combinations of astronomical complications. The double-sided Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication – La Première watch is part of this long tradition of timepieces dedicated to the particularities of the solar system and the fascination that they exert. With 27

its 1521 components, 41 complications and 13 patent applications, it is an inventive creation that transcends boundaries, in terms not only of complications and innovation, but also of miniaturisation. Three readings of time To embrace the different concepts underlying the measurement of time, Calibre 3655 was designed so that it can display civil, solar and sidereal time simultaneously, with a gear train specific to each of them. Civil time – The first gear train is dedicated to the 24-hour day of civil time – the legal time used throughout the world, which is based on International Atomic Time. This is indicated on the front dial of the watch by the central hour and minute hands, complemented by the display of world time and a second time zone. Sidereal time – The second gear train is dedicated to sidereal time, which is displayed on the reverse side of the watch; minutes are shown on the periphery of the fixed sapphire crystal caseback while hours are displayed on a rotating disc set beneath it. With a duration of 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds, one sidereal day is the time it takes for Earth to complete a full 360° rotation when taking a fixed star in the celestial vault as a reference point. Because Earth rotates on its axis while also revolving around the sun, it takes about four minutes less than a calendar day to return to its point of origin relative to the given star. Solar time – The third gear train – known as the tropical gear – is devoted to displaying the peculiarities of solar (or tropical) time. Because Earth’s path around the Sun is elliptical, not circular, and since Earth’s axis is inclined at 23,4° to the ecliptic (the plane of its orbit), the time taken for the Sun to pass its zenith varies throughout the year. This difference between the solar day (true) and the civil day (average) of 24 hours, varies from -16 to +14 minutes depending on the time of year and coincides only four times in twelve months (the equinoxes and solstices). This differential, called the equation of time, is displayed on the counter at 6 o’clock on the front dial of the watch. 28

Both Houses embody the Italian concept of “beautiful and well-crafted,” appealing to a refined, sophisticated audience that demands uncompromising quality in a dialogue where each brand inspires the other, giving rise to new creative challenges and journeys. “Over the past 110 years Maserati has been synonym of Italian Luxury, just like Giorgetti. We are thrilled about this partnership as it is a refined example of elegance and excellence, imbued in every detail of design and engineering. The collaboration with Giorgetti
perfectly fits within our vision of becoming the curator of the ‘Made in Italy’, creating bonds and emotions while telling our stories of innovation, heritage, quality and exclusivity that unite our brands,” explains Santo Ficili, Maserati CEO. The Giorgetti Maserati Edition interior collection represents a voyage between myth and nature, where Neptune’s Trident – Maserati’s iconic symbol – inspires Giorgetti’s new designs. It pays homage to the harmony of the sea and the power of the winds, elements that have always guided the automotive brand’s creations. Just as several Maserati models bear the names of power-

Inspired by New York rooftop parties, the campaign features a cast of models wearing the new collection, gathered as friends in the Mercedes-Benz vehicle, with a NYC water tower in the background. An accompanying documentary film explores NIGO’s co-creation process, highlighting how he builds a deeply referential presence – where the future is driven by the past. The newly opened Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan flagship dealership hosted friends of Moncler, Mercedes-Benz, and NIGO, including Alton Mason, Chloe Wise, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, Joey Badass, Kaws, Miles Chamley-Watson, Peyton List, Quil Lemons, Tobe & Fat Nwigwe. Guests stepped into a blacked-out photocall elevator-turned-time portal, arriving at a past-inspired gallery showcasing vintage cars. They then moved deeper into the futuristic, newly renovated showroom, now transformed into a dining hall. Popped trunks of vehicles served as a bar, while automotive-inspired cuisine by the chefs of New York’s celebrated Nami Nori and desserts by innovative pastry chef Eunjin Lee were served. The dining table reflected key elements of the co-created G-Class, such as metal bodywork, golden flower vases recalling the shape of jerrycans, puffer elements, and checked patterns from the car’s interior. Wait staff dressed as mechanics served dessert from gleaming toolboxes. The event embodied a fusion of past and future, inviting guests to explore a space illuminated by the G-Class Past II Future car and signature elements from Moncler, MercedesBenz, and NIGO.

Partnership celebrates Italian craftmanship with a priceless musical masterpiece in London The beginning of April saw an unprecedented celebration of classical music and artisan craftsmanship in central London. Hosted by Sanlorenzo Yachts UK and Howden Private Clients at the Minotti London showroom, the evening brought together a distinguished audience for a rare and extraordinary performance. A truly priceless musical interlude unfolded as two remarkable Stradivarius violins, in the hands of the worldrenowned violinists Tomo Keller and Andrew Bernardi, played together for the first time. Crafted over three centuries ago by the legendary Italian luthier Antonio Stradivari, these historic instruments - though visually distinct demonstrated their unparalleled ability to project with power and clarity, commanding the attention needed to be heard above the force of a full orchestra. Set against Minotti’s exquisitely curated backdrop on Margaret Street, the intimate gathering was immersed in the exceptional tonal nuances and dynamic range that define these rare musical masterpieces. Nick Hatfield, Managing Director at Sanlorenzo Yachts UK, reflected on the profound connection between Stradivari’s craftsmanship and Sanlorenzo’s legacy of yacht building:
“For over 60 years, Sanlorenzo has exemplified the finest Italian craftsmanship in luxury yacht building. Just as every Sanlorenzo yacht is a singular work of art, with its own story to tell, each Stradivarius violin is uniquely crafted, with a sound and character as distinctive as the instrument itself.” With only 650 Stradivarius violins believed to exist today, these instruments are among the rarest in the world. Their preservation is paramount, yet their true essence is realised only through performance. Charlie Jenkins, Head of Asset Finance at SPF Private Clients, Part of Howden, emphasised the delicate balance between preservation and use: “Instruments of this calibre must not only be safeguarded - they should be played. The relationship between violin and violinist is symbiotic: the more an instrument is played, the more it develops its voice, enriching both its sound and the artist’s interpretation of the music.”
continue to grace the global stage - a challenge Howden is committed to addressing. Jenkins unveiled a vision close to the heart of Howden as the leading insurance broker for fine instruments: “We understand the profound impact that an instrument can have on a musician’s career. Our vision is to ensure that exceptional violins, like those played by Tomo and Andrew, are brought out of storage and placed in the hands of talented artists. Achieving this goal will require the support of philanthropists and investors, and we are confident that Howden, given our market position, can lead this initiative. Our aim is to ensure these instruments continue to inspire and transform the lives of the finest musicians of their generation.” Supported by The Luxury Network UK, the evening at Minotti was more than a performance - it was a testament to the enduring legacy of craftsmanship, and the importance of preserving musical and artistic excellence for generations to come.
Despite their historical and artistic significance, Stradivarius violins remain financially out of reach for many of the world’s most gifted musicians. It is only through philanthropy and dedicated patronage that these rare instruments

These rooms, defined by the bold elegance of their owner, will be transformed into a magnificent suite: The Jeanne & Paul Penthouse Suite.

This project, marking the crowning achievement of Le Negresco, subtly epitomises the very essence of its history. By reimagining the sixth floor, it celebrates the hotel’s soul and its visionary spirit.
A Voyage Between Dream and Reality
The following lines extend an invitation to enter. Stepping into the Jeanne & Paul Suite is akin to embarking on a timeless journey, where the elegance of heritage merges seamlessly with contemporary refinement. More than a mere tribute, it encapsulates the essence of Le Negresco, ensuring that time does not stand still but is celebrated, reinvented, and perpetuated. This remarkable space has been entirely reimagined by architect and designer Jean-Philippe Nuel, who also conceived the splendid N Le Spa. ‘Beyond beauty, it is about imbuing a sense of meaning that blends harmoniously with Le Negresco and the city of Nice,’ he states. Suspended between the sky and the sea, this 400 square metres (4,306 sq ft) showcase offers a breathtaking 180-degree view over the Baie des Anges. Beneath the iconic dome, the salon unfolds in all its splendour, offering the perfect venue for entertainment and contemplation. als from renowned French designers, including Duvivier, a company founded in 1840. The natural flow of the space guides guests through harmonious volumes and cleverly arranged, distinct areas. On one side, the Paul Suite, designed as an elegant junior suite, exudes a refined and intimate character. On the other side, the Jeanne Suite opens into a bright bedroom, a serene library, and an office area with state-ofthe-art amenities. Every detail narrates a quest for perfection, where authenticity becomes an art form. Through subtle dialogue, various materials unite harmoniously: the sculptural purity of Carrara marble whispers to the elegance of precious woods, while the stars of Lelièvre, certified Living Heritage Company, and Pierre Frey radiate sophistication imbued with tradition. ‘We aim to collaborate with local partners who have already contributed to the reputation of Le Negresco, to maintain a relationship of trust, and to promote exceptional expertise,’ explains Jean-Philippe Nuel.
68
The artworks in Jeanne Augier’s collection showcase her discerning taste for various artistic movements. Outside, three private terraces spanning over 200 square metres (2,153 sq ft) engage with the horizon while a jacuzzi beyond them beckons guests to extend their relaxation. The cerulean tones of the terrace evoke the golden hour of the Riviera.
A Theater for Extraordinary Moments
The Jeanne & Paul Penthouse Suite is transformed into a living canvas, ready to welcome the stories that each guest wishes to share. With its capacity to host exclusive private events, it is ideally suited for intimate gatherings, film shoots, or moments of pure delight. A private kitchen, a genuine culinary workshop, presents gourmet delights created by the talented MICHELIN-starred chef Virginie Basselot, adding an exclusive, indulgent, and memorable dimension to the experience.
The Dawn of a New Era
This metamorphosis represents part of a renovation project that commenced in 2020 under the vigilant oversight of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France, who ensured that every stone and curve was restored to its original splendour. Le Negresco will continue its renovation journey until May 2025, weaving its destiny through the ages. Like a continuously evolving piece of art, its legend remains ever-dynamic: it perpetuates and reinvents itself while staying true to its heritage.

HERMÈS
PADDOCK 2025
R
iders are often reluctant to change out of their riding gear after a lesson, preferring instead to savour a little longer the wonderful aroma of the stables that permeates their clothing.
Christine Nagel, Creative Director of Hermès Perfumes, experienced a similar sensation when she encountered a horse named Hermès Ryan backstage at Le Saut Hermès, an annual event that attracts the world’s leading showjumpers and their mounts. She discovered in that moment the same lingering quality, the same appeal! Her challenge, then, was to preserve, recreate and encapsulate this unique atmosphere, com- posed of an indefinable blend of botanical and woody amber notes that is so hard to deconstruct with precision. There is, of course, the horse itself – but that is just the start. There is also its straw and hay, along with its barley and oats, occasionally supplemented with little treats. Next come the straps, saddles and stirrup leathers, all cleaned and nourished with fragrant
unguents. There also are the potent embrocations – the cade oil and pine tar, or “Stockholm tar” – used to coat its hooves. And finally, dominating all the wood, leather and wax, is... manure. Manure that Christine Nagel has no hesitation in describing as “delightful”! Poets, too, have written of the visual emotion or olfactory intoxication experienced on encoun- tering these fragrant “straw rolls”1 produced by horses, “as though fresh from the oven, on a pastry sheet”.2 The same olfactory complexities and subtleties inspired Christine Nagel to create an eau de par- fum which will be to equestrians and nature lovers what the famous madeleine was to Proust – not just a familiar scent, but also a trigger for memories, emotions and feelings of joy. W
hen Jacques Courtin opened his first institute in Neuilly in 1954, could he have imagined that Clarins would be one of the world leaders in skincare a few decades later? An incredible epic, in which our privileged partnerships with major selective distribution brands have played a crucial role. On the occasion of the brand’s 70th anniversary, let’s take a look back at the milestones of a saga made in France.
78
The story begins in the beauty salon located at 35 rue Tronchet, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. It was 1954 and Jacques Courtin had a revolutionary idea in mind: to draw a link between science and beauty. The former medical student decided to open a place that would allow him to express this vision, which was completely new for the time. The enthusiasm of the clientele for the institute was immediate. Driven
by this same pioneering spirit, Jacques Courtin decided to launch his own range of products based on plant extracts, to offer formulas that are as innovative as they are effective. In 1966, the Tonic Oil, a body care oil made of 100% plant extracts, which is still one of our bestsellers, was born. Only a few years were enough to lay the foundations of a real French success story. But Jacques Courtin’s

audacious and passionate spirit gave him a glimpse of much wider horizons. Why limit itself to France when Clarins has the necessary assets to conquer the world? This new impetus was carried out in the family, since Christian Courtin, Jacques’ son, took over the reins of the export department in 1974. A date that will mark the beginning of an incredible adventure. Powerful partnerships around the world Today, 95% of our products – entirely formulated and designed in France – are distributed in 150 countries on five continents. A global influence that has largely been based on the diversification of our sales channels. In 1968, we chose to
offer our formulas in selective perfumery in order to expand our customer base. In the 1980s, this strategy was further reinforced with the proliferation of Clarins corners in high-end points of sale and in selective distribution chains. Over the years, we have established partnerships with renowned department stores around the world. These allow us to benefit from increased visibility in key markets such as China, where we are present in the stores of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi chain. In the U.S., we also have a prestigious storefront at Macy’s. More recently, in 2021, we opened a corner in the new Printemps store in Doha, Middle East. It is also within these
Values that bring us together Beyond commercial interests, it is common values – excellence in the lead – that bring Clarins and the department stores together. Several spokespersons for prestigious brands testified to this on the occasion of our 70th anniversary. Tony Spring, CEO of Macy’s Inc. said, “Congratulations to Clarins on its 70th anniversary! What an extraordinary milestone, and one that is certainly a good time to celebrate the outstanding work of your company. Macy’s Inc., including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury, appreciates the partnership with the Clarins Group. It’s inspiring to work with a partner that continues to innovate, invests in the customer experience, and prioritizes the effectiveness of every product. We appreciate your continued support of our brands and look forward to many years of success.” Richard Wu, president of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Dept. Store Co., Ltd, also recalled the strength of his partnership with Clarins, which began nearly 30 years ago. “My sincere congratulations to Clarins on its 70th anniversary. This extraordinary milestone represents 70 years of innovation, excellence and perseverance. On behalf of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Group, I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your partnership and continued support. During our collaboration, we have built many 79

successes together, such as the first Clarins beauty corner, opened in our Taipei store in 1996, and the first Clarins Skin Spa opened in the Xinyi 19 store in 2003.” For his part, Jean-Marc Bellaiche, CEO of the Printemps group, insisted on the very special link between him and Clarins. It was in 1962 that we opened our first corner at the Printemps. A milestone that allowed us to position ourselves in the luxury market from the beginning. “It is with great pleasure that I think of the long-standing partnership between Clarins and Printemps, as well as the remarkable journey of your company that I have had the chance to follow personally,” he said. Chosen to be one of the few distribution partners of our new very highend Precious line, the Printemps 80
group also wanted to thank Clarins and reaffirm its confidence in the brand, through the words of Jean-Marc Bellaiche: “At Printemps, we are very proud of our partnership with Clarins and are delighted to have contributed to your growth and success. We’ve collaborated on many successful initiatives, including being one of the few partners chosen to launch your new collection, Precious. JOHNNIE WALKER VAULT THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA IN LUXURY SCOTCH WHISKY
A
new chapter in the world of luxury spirits has begun. Johnnie Walker, the world’s leading Scotch whisky, has unveiled the Johnnie Walker Vault—a global platform that redefines exclusivity, artistry, and storytelling in whisky blending. More than just a collection of rare spirits, the Vault is an immersive experience where whisky becomes deeply personal, crafted with precision and passion by Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender, Dr. Emma Walker. Tucked away beneath Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh, the Vault is a hidden creative sanctuary where blending reaches its most refined form. Here, Dr. Walker curates a constantly evolving selection of 500 rare and aged whiskies, drawing from a staggering 10 million casks that make 84
up Johnnie Walker’s archive. Some of these whiskies are from “ghost” casks—remnants of long-closed distilleries, preserved for those who seek something truly extraordinary. Each bottle created within the Vault is more than just a drink; it is a liquid masterpiece, a harmony of flavors crafted to tell a story. For those who desire the ultimate whisky experience, the Vault offers an invitation-only Private Blend experience, where a select few will have the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Walker in creating their own bespoke whisky. This isn’t simply a tasting or a limited-edition release—it is a journey into the very essence of whisky-making. Guests will embark on an experience deeply rooted in Scotland’s

“
“Johnnie Walker Vault is more than just a place—it is a vision,” says Dr. Emma Walker. “It allows me to curate and share the rarest and most exceptional Scotch whiskies, crafting blends that reflect personal stories and celebrate the artistry that defines Johnnie Walker. It is a privilege to take these moments and translate them into something truly extraordinary.”
heritage, indulging in Michelin-starred dining, an opulent stay at the legendary Gleneagles Hotel, and an exclusive tour of the Diageo Archive, home to some of the rarest whiskies in the world. The experience culminates in a private blending session, where each guest’s personal whisky is housed in an exquisitely crafted Baccarat crystal decanter, ensuring their creation is as much a work of art as it is a drink. As a final touch, their blend will be documented in the Johnnie Walker Vault archives, a lasting legacy that can be revisited and commissioned again, should the rare stocks allow.
For those who seek more than just a whisky, but a story, a legacy, and an experience that transcends time, Johnnie Walker Vault is the ultimate destination. A place where history, craftsmanship, and exclusivity converge, shaping the future of luxury Scotch whisky one bespoke blend at a time. www.johnniewalker.com
Beyond the world of whisky, the Johnnie Walker Vault is set to become a meeting point for artistic minds. Later this year, the Vault will welcome its first creative partner—an iconic fashion visionary—to collaborate with Dr. Walker on a limited-edition collection that merges whisky craftsmanship with couture artistry. This groundbreaking partnership marks the beginning of a new era where Johnnie Walker Vault becomes a hub for cultural expression, blending the worlds of luxury, design, and heritage in an unprecedented way. 85

FLYING HIGHER: VITO GOMES ON THE LEGACY AND FUTURE OF AVIATION SERVICES MANAGEMENT (ASM)
T
he Luxury Network UAE is thrilled to welcome Aviation Services Management FZE (ASM) as our newest esteemed member. For over 27 years, ASM has been a leader in private aviation, offering worldclass flight support and bespoke charter solutions tailored to elite travelers. Founded by Vito Gomes, ASM has grown from a visionary idea into a global powerhouse, headquartered in Dubai with a presence in key international markets. With a fleet that includes Learjet 60XRs and Bombardier Challenger 605 aircraft, ASM provides luxury charters, medevac services, and elite ground support, ensuring every journey is seamless and exclusive. In this exclusive interview, Vito Gomes, founder & CEO of ASM, shares his journey, insights on the evolving aviation industry, and the innovations that set ASM apart. Discover how ASM continues to redefine luxury travel and what the future holds for private aviation. Read on for an inspiring conversation with a true industry pioneer. ASM has been a leader in the aviation industry for over 27 years. Can you share the journey that led to the founding of ASM and how it has evolved into a global aviation powerhouse? The journey of ASM started back in 1998 with a very simple yet powerful idea — to simplify and streamline flight support services for operators around the world. At that time, I noticed a common challenge in the industry: operators were working with multiple vendors for different services, which led to inefficiencies, higher costs, and miscommunication. I believed there had to be a better way. 90
That belief became the foundation of ASM — a company built on the idea that aviation services should be accessible, reliable, and seamlessly integrated, with safety and quality at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve grown from a regional flight support provider into a truly global aviation powerhouse. Today, we have a footprint in over 180 countries and support operations at more than 3,000 locations worldwide. Our growth has always been driven by innovation, resilience, and a deep understanding of our clients’ evolving needs — from commercial operators to private jet owners. And today, we go far beyond flight support. We operate our own charter fleet, offer medevac services, and manage aircraft as a licensed operator — all under one roof. This integrated, end-to-end approach is what sets ASM apart and defines who we are. Private aviation is synonymous with exclusivity and precision. What sets ASM Charter apart from other providers in the industry, and how do you ensure an unparalleled experience for your VIP clientele? For me, exclusivity in aviation isn’t just about luxury interiors or gourmet meals — it’s about delivering a truly personal, seamless, and reliable experience. What sets ASM Charter apart is our attention to every small detail and our ability to tailor each flight around the unique needs and preferences of our clients. We work with high-profile business leaders, royalty, celebrities, and families — and for each of them, we curate the experience from start to finish. Our fleet is impeccably maintained, our crew is trained in luxury hospitality, and our concierge team is available 24/7 to
handle everything — whether that’s gourmet catering, last-minute scheduling changes, hotel bookings, or VIP ground transport. Since we own and operate our own fleet, we have full control over the service quality and operational excellence. That makes a big difference — and our clients feel that difference on every flight. ASM operates its own fleet, including Learjet 60XRs and Bombardier Challenger 605 aircraft. Can you tell us more about these aircraft and how they cater to the needs of your clients, whether for VIP travel or medical evacuation? Absolutely. Our Learjet 60XR, a 7-seater jet, is a favorite for business travel and quick regional hops. It’s fast, efficient, and offers a high level of comfort, making it ideal for short- to mid-range trips — whether for business executives or families heading out for leisure. Our aircraft are also configured for medevac missions. When lives are on the line, response time and reliability matter — and our aircraft are equipped with medical equipment and staffed with trained professionals when needed. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously. We recently added the Bombardier Challenger 605 to our fleet — an 11-seater jet with intercontinental range and a wide, luxurious cabin. It’s perfect for long-distance travel, offering a high level of comfort, privacy, and productivity, which appeals to corporate groups, dignitaries, and high-net-worth individuals. Across the board, our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and configured to deliver safety, efficiency, and luxury — because for us, it’s not just about flying; it’s about creating an exceptional experience.
Beyond luxury charters, ASM is a trusted partner for flight planning, ground handling, and medevac services. How does your in-house operations team ensure seamless execution across these diverse aviation services? Our strength has always been our centralized operations model. From the very beginning, I wanted everything under one roof — not scattered across vendors or outsourced teams. Today, we have an incredibly capable in-house team — dispatchers, handling agents, permit specialists, and ground supervisors — all working in sync, 24/7. Whether it’s a discreet private charter, a critical medevac flight, a commercial operation, or cargo movement, every mission is managed through our control center with precision, coordination, and complete peace of mind. What truly sets us apart is the strong relationships we’ve built over the years with civil aviation authorities around the world. These connections go a long way in ensuring smooth clearances, fast-tracked permits, and minimal disruptions — even in the most complex scenarios. Our operations team is always on high alert. They’re tracking everything — changes in FAA regulations, airport restrictions, NOTAM updates, natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, or airspace closures. And when something unexpected happens — as it often does in aviation — they don’t wait. They immediately work out the best alternate plan that aligns with the client’s schedule, safety, and operational priorities. That kind of readiness doesn’t come by chance — it comes from experience, discipline, and a genuine commitment to doing what’s best for the client. We also lean on advanced technology, but I always say, it’s the people behind the tech that make the real difference. Our protocols are tight, our planning is 91
Follow the Leader
meticulous, and every touch point — from fuel coordination to ground handling — is managed with a high degree of professionalism. That’s why clients trust ASM — because we’re always one step ahead, and we treat every flight like it’s our own. The private aviation sector is rapidly evolving, with advancements in technology, sustainability, and customer expectations. How is ASM innovating to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance the luxury travel experience? At ASM, innovation isn’t just a department — it’s a mindset. We’re constantly looking at how we can improve the client experience and operational efficiency. Our personalized service and data-driven insights allow us to anticipate client needs. Additionally, we are committed to sustainability, exploring eco-friendly practices and modern aircraft technologies to reduce our environmental footprint. By staying attuned to emerging trends and proactively adapting our services, we ensure that ASM remains at the forefront of the private aviation industry, delivering unparalleled luxury and efficiency. More importantly, we’re constantly listening to our clients. Today’s luxury traveler wants more than just a private jet — they want an experience that’s curated, purposeful, and personal. So, we’re building out bespoke travel experiences, wellness journeys, and partnerships with high-end destinations to meet those expectations. We listen, we adapt, and we grow with our clients. With ASM’s presence in key international markets, including the UK, Portugal, India, Kenya, and Latin America, how do you navigate the challenges of operating in different regions while maintaining your high standards of service? Operating globally comes with its challenges, but we’ve built a system that balances local expertise with global 92
consistency. In every region we operate, we work closely with trusted local partners and have our own teams who understand the specific regulations, cultural nuances, and client expectations of that market. At the same time, we have a centralized quality standard across the organization that ensures everything meets the ASM benchmark — whether it’s in Delhi, Nairobi, or Dubai. Recently, in 2024, we opened our office in Saudi Arabia, a strategic move that strengthens our presence in the Middle East. And this year, we’re expanding our existing operations in Sri Lanka to better serve our clients in South Asia. These expansions allow us to be even more responsive and hands-on in regions that matter to our clients. I believe in thinking globally but always serving personally.
As the visionary behind ASM, what drives your passion for aviation, and what is your long-term vision for the company’s growth and impact on the global aviation industry? Aviation, for me, is deeply personal. I’ve always been fascinated by its ability to connect people, ideas, and possibilities across borders. Every aircraft we dispatch carries someone’s dream, someone’s mission, or even someone’s emergency. That sense of purpose is what drives me every single day. Looking ahead, my vision for ASM is to keep raising the bar in private aviation — not just in service quality, but in how we innovate, how we expand, and how we bring meaningful experiences to our clients. I want ASM to be known not just as a service provider but as a partner in private aviation — a brand that
high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and even governments trust for reliability, discretion, and excellence. We will continue expanding our global footprint, investing in talent and technology, and offering solutions that redefine what private aviation can be. Ultimately, I want ASM to shape the future of aviation — with integrity, ambition, and an unwavering commitment to our clients. As the founder, my mission has always been to build a legacy that goes beyond business — one that contributes to the betterment of the aviation industry as a whole. And I will continue to carry that vision forward, ensuring ASM always delivers nothing less than Excellence on Ground, In Flight. For more information, please visit www.asm.aero 93
