The Luke Clinic

The Luke Clinic provides free, life-affirming medical care to expectant mothers and infants under 12 months of age, with a special focus on serving uninsured, under-resourced, and marginalized families in Detroit and Flint. We exist to address the deep racial and economic disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes—particularly in communities where infant mortality rates remain unacceptably high. Our services include prenatal and postnatal care, ultrasounds, well-baby visits, parenting support, mental health screenings, and social service connections. We walk alongside our patients from early pregnancy through the baby’s first year of life, offering wraparound care in a safe, culturally competent, and nonjudgmental environment. Our clinic is staffed by a team of volunteer and paid medical professionals, doulas, and community advocates. We prioritize relationship-based care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—empowering women, saving lives, and building faith along the way.
