TSA advances to NATIONALS Awards of Excellence honors arts, academics

Longview High School’s Technology Student Association team has 11 students heading to Nationals after competing at the State meet held April 25-27 in Fort Worth. National Qualifiers are Carly Snyder, Brady Miller, Ejehi Ihionkhan, Payton Schaap, Hyndavi Jatavalabhula, Matthew Guck, Katherine Burlingame, Matthew Hanson, Matthew Reed, Daivik Lakaki and Kyle Ashley. KySean Dixon will be attending as Chapter Team alternate. Student Gowri Rangu was elected as the TSA State Treasurer. Her duties will be performing duties of a state officer at nationals.

Longview ISD Administrators and Board of Trustees recognized student achievement in academics as well as the arts May 9th during the 43rd annual LHS Awards of Excellence Banquet at Pinecrest Country Club. Each presentation of medals was accompanied by a creative arts performance by Longview High School students.
