Cook, Langenstein, Peters named 2019 Distinguished Alumni Longview Independent School District on May 11 will honor three former students during the annual Distinguished Alumni ceremony and luncheon. This year’s Distinguished Alumni are Ronald Cook (Class of 1965), Perry Langenstein (Class of 1959), and Randy Peters (Class of 1971).

Shobert, Miller, Schaap Foster Math & Science Earn ‘Voice’ Scholarships team returns to STATE
Foster Middle School’s Math & Science team team once again headed to state on Saturday, April 27 in San Antonio at UTSA campus. The Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) is a competition that features three math categories and one science category that students can take part in.
Congratulations to Longview High seniors Alyssa Shobert, Brady Miller, and Payton Schaap for being selected as The Longview Voice Scholarship winners for 2019! Alyssa, Brady, and Payton were selected for contributing articles about their time at Longview High and people who made an impact on their educational journey.
