McConaughey, Legislature honors Lobos at State Capitol

Way to go Lobos!

The celebration continues for the Longview Lobos! Matthew McConaughey stopped by the Texas Capitol on Wednesday, March 6th to congratulate his alma mater on their recent state championship. The Academy Award winner (and 1988 Longview High grad) joined the Lobos as they were honored in the House and Senate for winning the 2018 Class 6A State Championship in December, capping a perfect 16-0 season. Foster TSA advances to State

To the next level... Longview ISD sent its largest group of students ever to the Texas Science & Engineering Fair at Texas A&M University at College Station March 29-30. Cole Stout, Jefferson Dunaway, Mary Leak, Carolyn Purdum, Matthew K’hieu, Jasmine Perry, Caroline Rodriguez, Adriana Pierce, Grace Rucker, and Iniabasi Eskpenyong advanced to State after achieving honors at the East

Congratulations to Foster Middle School TSA Chapter, with all 34 students advancing to the State TSA competition in April! Foster competed against schools from all over East Texas during the Regional meet March 4-5.
