he last Friday of November may mean shopping for the best deals in packed stores but the day before is all about the family. For those who may not be able to spend time with their family this Thanksgiving, District 3 Councilman Wray Wade is hosting a free community event at Broughton Recreation Center. “Thanksgiving has always been about bringing the family together and friends and neighbors to celebrate all of the things that we are thankful for. In Longview…and South Longview we have a lot to celebrate,” Wade, a Lobo grad, said.

Six early graduates earn high school diploma It may not have had the usual “pomp and circumstance” of the end-of-year graduation ceremony, but the diplomas presented to these Longview Early Graduation High School students are just as special. During the Longview ISD trustees meeting Monday, Nov. 11th, six graduates were recognized by Principal Kristi Means.
