District celebrates heroic alumni with Wall of Honor

ongview Independent School District honored five former students during annual Wall of Honor festivities at halftime of the Lobos football game against Tyler Lee on Nov. 1st. This year’s Wall of Honor inductees are Jazmon Lamar Armstrong, Richard E. Hudgins, Steven Lawrence King, Frank LeBus Jr., and Rashad S. Lewis.

Guck, Cowart to play Carnegie Hall Longview High School music students Josephine Cowart and Matthew Guck have been selected for the 2020 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. Josephine (daughter of Annamarie and Todd Cowart) and Matthew (son of Steve and Theresa Guck) will perform violin in February with the Honors Symphony Orchestra. Participation in
